Hello Mississippians :-)
Hi again, Angie!
You're doing fine, just one pound isn't anything to worry about anyways, could be water (right? LOL). So how are you doing? Have they told you at the doctors office that you might want to try to start cutting back on the sugar and carbs yet? When they told me , I was like OMG.. I wanna EAT before this, because once I'm past surgery, I'll never eat again LOL
But after a couple of days, I came to the conclusion, that I'm so serious about this surgery and that I wanted it so badly, I'm gonna show them that I can actually DO the diet thing and lose weight, like I usually was able to, so they can see my committment to the matter. By showing the ability to lose some, they would then definitely also see that my biggest problem was going past plateaus and keeping it off later. Oh and it was a struggle, slowly saying goodbye to my friends, sugar... and white bread.. pasta..rice.. not easy to give up those things you've come to love
I gotta admit though, once you wean off those things, it's easier to just walk past it after you had surgery. I have not craved sugar at all, only a few times I 've really wanted pasta and bread.. It didn't help that they opened a new Whataburger on the road I travel to work every day.. AFTER ( !! ) I had my surgery. I was kinda mad about that, but now, I'm learning to deal with the head hunger and it's gotten easier. Much easier.
Well sorry about the rambling , please do feel free to Email me if you have anything to share, I'm always glad to help where I can
Take care
Andrea
