How long will it all take?

Just wondering how long it has taken sombody to get to their surgery from the time they meet with the doctor the first time? My first appt. is in sept. I'm thinking possible surgery in january? Or does it take longer? I'm so anxious that I can't stand it.... I have prayed a long time about this and I ready..... THANKS BARBARA

I saw Dr Blake on the 27th of June and Kristi his nurse told me surgery would be around December. So six months after your consult appointment

I guess it depends on how busy the doc is and how long it takes to get approved.... My doc said that if we were approved right away then we would have surgery within the next month.

Hey, I had my first consult in April, but I got that appt in Oct 2003. I don't have a date yet, so....BUT I'd say i'll have surgery in the next month or 2, so about 6 months from the first consult is about right. Some are shorter..depends on the dr's back log! Argh!! First thing you know it will be Sept., and school will be going on.... Smooch, Arlies
