Info PLEASE!!

Does anyone know when the meetings for the Jackson Support Groups Meet? I live in Pearl, and have been to my initial consult and have my tests scheduled and I want to start meeting with some people that have been there and done this...and to gather as much knowledge as possible...i have done extensive research online and have talked with many individuals that have had the surgery done, but that was all over the phone...its different face to face. please If anyone knows the schedule or knows where i may get the schedule please please let me know. The meeting this month was the 15th. I am not sure, but I think they are always the 3rd Tuesday of the month. They are at 6:30 at the Student Union on campus. When I was in college there, it was best to enter on Lakeland across the road from Beau Revage appts. Arlies gets a letter every month from Dr Blake and usually post on here when it has been scheduled. Good luck Angela and I hope to meet you there at one of the support meetings. I go for my consult on Tuesday, so I am sure I will be looking at attending my first meeting in July.

Angela, My husband started a WLS support group on Yahoo Groups, (he had the surgery @CMMC on Dec 31, 2003) and we are having our second meeting this July 7th.
