Getting closer to a date ya'll!!

Hey everybody, I have some exciting news!! Dr. Whitehead's(Pulmonologist)office called back today and scheduled me an appointment for next Tuesday, June 22nd to come in and have the Pulmonary Test and ABGS test. I AM SO EXCITED! I called Celecia at Dr. Salameh's office and she said that she thinks that after those tests on the 22nd and then my psych eval on June 28th that I will be through with all of my pre-op work!!!! She said that Dr. Salameh wasn't too backed up in surgery and that if I got the results of my tests to them by mid or late July then I could have the surgery possibly in August!!! YEAH YEAH!! That also means that if I can get them to get the results to them earlier than that, then I might have it by the end of July. I am so happy!!! It sure pays to be persistent....but it's important to not cross that line and become pesky, LOL. If I were to have waited on the appointments they gave me I wouldn't have my Pulm. and Blood Gas tests until August 27th and my psych eval until October 4th!! I have done a lot of follow up work calling and trying to re-arrange many of my appointments and see which ones I could take care of in Meridian. Dr. Salameh will be back at work next Monday and his nurse is going to fill him in on all that I've had done and see when it might be possible for surgery. My birthday is July 16th, and although i know it's probably not very feasible to have the surgery by then, it would be the best present ever to at least have a surgery date!!! 31 is going to be my best year ever, I can tell already!! Hey Mrs. Arlies...if July won't work for you then maybe you can shoot for August and we can still try to be roomies!! God Bless!! Kristi

Hi Kristi, I got my PCP to do all my blood work, he also did my Pulmonary Function Test and chest x-rays. If you don't mind me asking..who is your psych? I got in to see mine in a weeks time for the elvaluation. Jo

Hey sweetie, I did my CPAP thingie last night and even enjoyed it!!! They are so good to you at Anderson's. Is it because my BIL is a big guy there????Well, Dr. Blake told me Tuesday nght that he may have lied to me about my July or August date. It may be later. I'd ask you to wait on me, but I doubt you would!!!! If you get there first, I will be very bery jealous, but I will still love ya!!! I am not going to worry about the date. After all, my sleep study wasn't supposed to be until Oct 13! So I am ahead of the game! many smoochies, Arlies
