who knows Dr. Cleveland

I went to a support group meeting Tuesday with office of Dr. Cleveland. I am still trying to decide on CMMC or UMC, based on the doctor. Anyone have anything good/bad about Dr. Cleveland or his staff?????? Thanks

I went to the meeting last night as well. I would have like to have met the doctors on the team there. I hope to hear back from them real soon, I have been trying to get approved with my insurance and have had to change doctors since my insurance would not pay for the lomg-limb surgery. Dr. Cleveland along with the other two doctors on his team do the surgery short limb so I'm hoping once my second appeal is done with them I will be approved to go ahead with surgery. Keep me posted on what you decide. I sat on the second row on the left side of the room by the light switch.

I looked into Dr Cleveland, but he does not take my insurance. So I went with Dr Blake. If I am not mistakes Dr Blake trained Dr Cleveland. I have heard nothing but the greatest reviews about him.

I do!! I do!!! I went to one of Dr. Cleveland's seminars back in Oct of last year and fell in love with him, Adam, and all his staff, but to my poor broken heart's lament, CMMC does not take tricare insurance. So Adam pointed me to Dr. Blake. And Adam says if he had to have this done, his first choice would be Dr. Cleveland, but if he couldn't go to Dr. Cleveland, he would have absolutely no qualms about Dr. Blake. Dr. Cleveland and Dr Blake went to med school together, and ,I think, were in practice togther once upon a time...All I have heard about Dr. Cleveland is good. Keep us posted! Arlies

Both Dr. Blake and Dr. Cleveland are relatively new to bariatric surgery. No more than a couple of years worth of experience...but I've heard nice things about them both. I've never worked with Dr. Blake, but I have worked with Dr. Cleveland (when he was a resident) and he's really a good physician...very compassionate and very knowledgeable. I've never taken care of their patients post-op bariatric surgery.

Dr. Cleveland did my gastric bypass surgery 3 weeks ago and I love him!!! He is very compassionate, caring and takes great care of you. All of the staff at at the hospital during surgery and recovery were wonderful. Very attentive and caring. Post op has been great too. They are taking excellent care of me and I have been very pleased with Dr. Cleveland and the entire staff at CMMC and the bariatric center!! I have lost 28 pounds in 3 weeks!! Good luck. You will be in great hands with Dr. Cleveland!!
