Dr Cleveland's Post-Op Patients

I know that some of you will think I am nuts! But I am fairly new to all this...I have attended only 1 seminar and seen the nurse practioner.. All that consist of is weighing me in and listening to my heart & lungs...etc...She didnt give me much info on what is next..All she said is try to take care of yourself and try not to gain anymore weight! And when I asked her what the next step is, she replied.. you will get a letter from us.... So, what I am wanting and asking...is to get in touch with a post-op patient that used Dr Cleveland for surgery. And tell me step-by-step what they went through to finially get the surgery date. hey Jo Ann, I am using Dr. Blake, but I think we go through pretty much the same steps. I have had an initial consult, psychiatriac approval, pulmonary study and I have an appt for a sleep study. Then, as far as I know, I will get a surgery date. My intial consult was April 13. All I lack is the sleep study, and I have an appt in OCT for that, but will probably go to Jeff Anderson in Meridian for it since I can get one there much sooner. Keep us posted on your journey. Oh, one more thing, Dr. Cleveland's nurse, Adam, is a member of this website and you can go to his profile and email him. He will email you back and answer any questions that you have, but he is slow about responding. My first seminar I went to was with them at CMMC (they don't take my insurance), Adam pointed me to Dr. Blake and Adam checks on me now and again.
