Hey Barbara, somebody posted a while back that Dr. Rose was leaving, and that she is training someone to take her place. I can't find the post and don't know who posted it, but I do remember it. I'd call her and check on it. Love, arlies

If I remember correctly, she moved to virginia. The person who took over her office will start seeing patients in June. I want to say that the person who posted it said she was going on June 8th. I may be wrong about the dates and the state Dr Rose moved to, but I for sure remember that they would start taking new patients in June.

Yep... Dr. Rose is moving to Virginia... She has two Drs replacing her... Dr. William "Pete" Avara from Ocean Springs (he will be working both places, consulting and following up one day each a week) Dr. Deron Joseph Ludwig from Oregon They stopped scheduling all consultations, I guess so she could finish surgeries with the ones she already had started with and the new guys can get in there. I just got a call last week for my consultation appt. June 8th at 11am with Dr. Ludwig (the first day they are doing consults again). They will call on the 7th to get a medical history also. A lady Barbara O. who had surgery with Dr. Rose said to try and get Dr. Ludwig because Dr. Rose said he was the BEST. I will let you all know how my consult goes with Dr. Ludwig on the 8th. GOOD LUCK... and if you want to see them... I would call to schedule an appt... I am not sure how far behind they are now.

Everyone is right, she is moving. I had my 2 year checkup last month and heard it straight from her. The new docs will be doing the followups for former patients too. I look forward to meeting them. The have really big shoes to fill in following Dr. Rose. Elesha LapRNY 2/26/02
