I finally got all my info into my insurance company yesterday. Saturday is the deadline or I am automatically declined. It took me forever to get all my doctors letters and everything. Anyway, I'm sure you all know the drill. Here is my problem, I talked to my insurance today and they said I meet all the criteria for the surgery except for not having a documented history of a medically supervised non-operative weightloss program for the last 6-12 months. I am so heart broken. I want this so bad. Does anyone have any sugestions for me?

Copy your post to the main board. You'll get more replies and people with more experience with insurance companies. I don't know what to tell you except that if your insurance denies you then you can try vocational rehab. Keep us posted on your journey. Love, Arlies

So sorry about all that. You have to get that from your dr. IT has to be in his notes. If not then you will have to start now documenting it all and do a diet with the pcp for 6 months. Like Arlies said you will get some experienced answers on the mail board. Donna
