Im here.... still waiting for my consultation... the office is changing doctors...BOOOOO insurance said they pay on a case by case basis... so we will see.

Hey Susan! If your insurance doesn't come through for you, check with vocational rehab. They will help you with this. I have already had a consult, pulmonary study, and psychiatric approval, but if my insurance balks, I am going to get with vocational rehab. Where are you hoping to have surgery? Thanks.... Someone also said something about Vocational Rehab... I am not sure how they work or what info they might need.... I am looking to have my surgery in Biloxi at Gulf Coast Medical Center... Dr Rose is the one leaving.... booooooooo I am hoping that insurance wont be too much of a problem... I am a good fighter and they already know that... LOL... they dread it when I call... LOL Do you have a date for your surgery yet (sorry I didnt look at your profile yet... LOL)??? GOOD LUCK

Yeah I heard she is the best too... But the office assured me that she is bringing in 2 wonderful doctors that she hand picked herself... and she will train them HER WAY before she leaves. Virginia is lucky since she is going to practice up there....

I spent the night in the hospital. My liver is acting up on me real badly. Evidently since I am not life or death the surgeon does not think there is any reason to try to hurry up and get my surgery done. The liver cyst is so big it has my stomach stretched out bigger than when i was 9 months pregnant, and i have a horrible rash in the fold between my private and my stomach. I am in pain and so miserable!!!!!!!!!! Hope the rest of you are doing much better than I. Donna

yeow, Donna! I hate you are having such a rough time. If you can, wash the area between your private and tummy with feminine hygiene soap - the kind you don't have to wash off. That sometimes helps. What are they going to do about the cyst? Are they going to lance it (ouch) or remove it? Love ya, Arlies
