Saw Karen Barrett last night Original Post by Carmen O. at 6:48 AM PST on 04/22/2004 Gulfport, MS - RNY (04/28/2004) It is so odd (for lack of a better word) to visit someone in the hospital, knowing that you will be going throught the exact same thing, in that exact same hospital, on that exact same floor, the very next week. I must say that Karen is just as funny and bubblely in person as she is on the boards. She doing so well. She's up and walking, making nurses laugh, and taking this recovery like a champ. Just wanted all ya'll to know that she's doing great and may be home today!
