I breathed good!!!!

Hey gang, I went to UMMC main hospital in Jackson to have my pulmonary study This afternoon. It was no big deal, but you blow out your breath until your face turns red, then purple, and then blue!!! The tech said I did good with my breathing, but she doesn't know what criteria they are looking for. She was very much interested in hearing about WLS. She was a little heavy, but not near enough to qualify for surgery. She wants support for eating healthy. I told her about this site and told her to come on and look around. She was VERY, VERY kind and supportive! She also drew blood for blood gasses out of an artery. She drew it from inside the elbow. It stung a little bit, but didn't hurt. She got it first time. I think from this study they will decide if I have to have a sleep study done or not. Very good day!!!! Next up is my appt with the obesity/nutrition doctor. I will get notice of my appt in the mail.
