Nothing but bad luck here
Is it the weather, the water or what????? I have lost 2 fillings in the last couple of months. Fortunately for me they didn't hurt, except that the tooth edges were sharp and cut my tongue. I really hate that yours is hurting. I'd fix it if I could. Can you use ambesol or oragel in the meantime?? I'll be thinking of you.

I went to Wal Mart and got the temporary filling stuff. My hubby packed my tooth and made an outside of the tooth out of it. It is keeping air and food/drink out. The pain got so bad I went to the ER and the dr gave me some lortab 10. They gave me one at around 8pm last night, it is now 10:30 the next moring and I am still so sleepy I can barely hold my head up. So needless to say, it knocked the pain out. Praise God. That was some aweful pain.
Since things happen in 3's your 2 and my one make 3, so we should be good for what about 10 more years? LOL
Are you getting all excited about your upcoming appointment with Dr Blake, I was thinking of you last night. (wishing I was you lol)
Hopefully that covers us for the next 10 or 15 years!!!!!! But I have to get a real filling instead of the one temporary they gave me, and I need one capped at $530. Told them, they'd have to wait until my ship comes in!!!
I am really dreading Tuesday.....Mostly because I'll find out how much I actually weigh!!!!! Also, I don't walk real good with the weight and the knees being shot, AND I don't know my way around the university. Wi**** were like St Dominic's and they'd park for you and wheel you where ever you need to go..... Just nerves. I'll be glad to finally get started on the way to being a big ole loser, though.

PS Happy Easter!!!
I graduated college there i***** so I am sure many things have changed. Then you would exit 55 onto Woodrow Wilson and turn off of Woodrow Wilson to the University Medical Pavilion.
I would recommend you calling the office and getting specific directions in case that has changed.
BECAUSE i***** if you parked up front you would have to walk close to a mile to get to the Pavilion.
heh..UMC is worse now than ever. you have to park and walk 3 miles to any entrance to the hospital. Seriously, the parking is horrible. and even if your appt. is in the Pavilion, they will send you to the main hospital for all the pre-op stuff. That will take most of the day. please be prepared to hurry up and wait...and to walk several miles. (If you aren't able to walk, they do have ppl who will transport you via wheelchair, but waiting on them can increase your waiting time by an hour each time you need to go to a different dept). And for surgery preop, you go 1. to the Dr.'s office. 2. to the workup dept to see anesthesia. 3. to lab to get blood drawn. 4. to xray for a chest xray. 5. any other special things, like breathing tests, etc. are in another dept.
speaking from work experience. I used to work at UMC and preop workup area. I helped with the workups of his very first surgery patients (he started doing gastric surgery in 2001).
just remember when you start getting frustrated with the wait---remember what you're there for. you will be happy in the end.
