ANYBODY USED DR. BLAKE?

HI, NEW AT THIS BUT I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR. BLAKE ON SEPT. 14. I LIVE IN LAUREL BUT JUST RECENTLY HEARD OF A DR. IN HATTIESBURG. I WOULD RATHER DO HATTIESBURG IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

I am using Dr Blake. I haven't gotten my date yet. Maybe in the next few weeks. The reason I am not for Hattiesburg is they are so new at this. Dr Whitehead is good I'm sure but everyone always says to make sure your surgeon has done many many surgeries. That is the surest bet of having a successful surgery with less complications. It has been proven. That is my opinion. God bless on your weight loss surgery journey. I am dinished with the pre-op stuff so I am just waiting for my date. Jane from MS

I have heard that Dr Blake is the one in MS to use. He teaches the procedure at UMMC. I am set up with my first appointment in June. There are 2 here I belive who will see him next week for their first appointment. Donna

Hey, I have my first appt with Dr. Blake on Tuesday afternoon (13th) Email me on Wednesday or Tuesday to remind me and I will report back to you. I also have heard that in MS the best is Dr. Blake or Dr. Cleveland at CMMC in Jackson. They went to med school together and used to be in practice together. I started out with Dr. Cleveland, but they don't take my insurance, and Dr. Cleveland's nurse, Adam, gave me Dr. Blake's name and number and told me that if he had to have surgurey and could not have Dr. Cleveland, he'd use Dr. Blake. Well I am sorry. I almost sure that both Dr.Blake and Dr. Cleveland are good doctors, but my surgeon, Dr. Suddereth is Vicksburg. There were about 5 of us around the same time who had the surgery and we all are doing great! We have not had any complications nor any incidences of leaks among us. So you may want to try looking into him too. Good luck!
