Saw Liver Surgeon today

I went to UAB in Birmingham today. He said it has to come out. He told me that it should have come out as soon as they found it, b/c it is pre cancerous. I will have surgery the first week in May. I will be in ICU for one day b/c of obesity in case I have a pulmonary embolism. The total hospital time is 5-7 days and they will remove the drain tube before sending me home. Keep me in your prayers. Donna

Hey Donna, I hope it goes easy!! My DH had both colon and liver cancer- diangosed in July 2003 and is in remission now. It is amazing what they can do these days. I will pray all goes well for you.
