Remember me??????

Hey gang, I've been here all along, but have been very quiet! Mostly just checked the boards and moved on due to lack of time. My sister was in the hospital for about a month with her back surgery - staff infection in the wound, so things have not been right at my house!!! She finally got out on Saturday and I had to take her back to the ER Sunday am because the IV lead was stopped up and the home health nurses could not get it unstopped, so Sunday was ALL day at the ER, but she came home again. Mostly I am just tired!!! On my WLS news front, April 13 is next week and I will finally have my first consult. Think of me that things will move a little faster! Also have applied to get an electric scooter. My knees are gone. They will someday, when I have lost weight, get replaced. They hurt constantly and are forevermore getting "catches" in them - and at that point, all I can do is holler!!! It scares my hubby to death. Sooner or later, I am afraid there will be a tremendous fall!!! You'll know, you'll feel the quake that follows!!! Arlies, Welcome back to the lMessage Boards, lol... SOrry to hear about you sister I hope shes feeling better, and has a quick recovery... WOOHOOO April 13th is not far away your first consult I bet you are sooo excited...That should start the ball rolling....Ohh and some new wheeelsssss your gonna be speeding around everywhere.. I am going to have to get you one of those really cool horns to put on it or the alarms that say "Step away from my vehicle",You need to get it like bright pink with like fuzzy dice hanging opr something..Im just trying to make you laugh lol.. I am so sorry you are having so much pain in your knees... I have one hellacious headache for the last 3 months, I just found out after a battery of tests that its in part do to a abnormal sleep study test, and I found out yesterday that my weight is causing pressure on my brain.. ughh...Thank goodness I am having surgery in 2 weeks... OMG 2 weeks today woohooooo wasnt even thinking about it, lol Ok as you can probably tell I can talk forever, lol as Carmen, Diane, and Tonya, lol I talk their ears off on the phone all the time, lol they probably run from the phone when I call, lol..nahhhh Ok sweetie I hope you feel better sending you lots of hugsssssss Karen Getting ready for my RE-Birthday April 20th 2004 Lap-RNY

Hi Arlies, I just wanted to let you know I will keep you and your sister in my prayers . I hope all goes great at your consultation and that you have an early surgery date. Mine was almost a month ago and believe me ,all the pain was worth it. Im doing great so far. I love ya and am here if you ever need to vent.. hehe Love ya..Lisa
