I've Got a date!!!

Well Hello for those very few out there on the board, lol I got the call on April fools day figure the odds, lol had to call them back a few times to make sure they were not pulling a prank... But my RE-birthday is on April 20th 2004 at Keesler Airforce Base... I am having the Lap RNY...I am sooooo excited THere are a couple local ladies I would like to thank on the board... First of all Diane and Tonya, (who sound exactly alike on the phone, lol) First people I ever talked to on the board, Fantastic couple of women...An inspiration...They themselves have both been through the surgery and can speak from experience, they have always been there when I have needed to talk or laugh...or just vent, lol Thank you so very much for always being there..I cant wait to meet you both on the loosing side.... Love ya Both MUAHHHHH!!! and Carmen...my Partner in crime out at Keesler...We are gonna figure your stratagy out... you just wait, lol..Thank you for all the emails and phone calls and catching me up on all the latest goings on at Keesler... I was so happy when they called me with a date... and I know you were happy for me to, but I was sad becasue I know you want them to call you as well, and they will sweetie.. be patient and when its time they will I will be right here for ya when you get that call Hugssssssss Karen

Heya donna, Thank you so very much for your response and well wishes.. I am shocked someone actually responded on the board... I have been highly dissapointed with the paicipation level on the board.... I mean I know people have lives and everything but I honestly thought more people would want to talk to other people that are having or have had the surgery that are local maybe that's just me... August is an awesome month gives you enough time to research research research......I know you probably wished it was sooner.. but it will be here before you know it Hugs Karen

that's fabulous Karen! Congrats on your date....from the sound of it, i didn't think you'd get one so quickly. I know you're excited and counting down the days... please let me know if there's anything i can do to help. hehe. of course, I'm middle mississippi, but i'll do what i can. I've been disappointed with the local support, too. you'd think there were more ppl here who've had surgery/interested in it who are also internet-literate. heh. who knows.

ROflmao I have no idea whats going on but its rather pathetic.... I mean there are quite a few signed up but no one ever posts to the board.... That is so exciting, Karen. I read alot of your post here and elsewhere and have enjoyed them. I live at Poplarville MS not too far from you. I am a pastor's wife and would like to be available to you if you need anything. We visit alot and enjoy ministering to people. I hope I will get my date in about 2 weeks. I am excited too. My daughter gets married June 26 so hopefully in May or after the wedding I will have my surgery. Let me know if you need anything. I am the only Hudnall in the Poplarville area. JAne from MS
