Used Weight Loss Surgery Books??

I finally got a face on my message post thing and on my profile. I actually feel like I belong to the WLS Message boards now... I have a question.. I was searching Amazon.com for Used weight loss surgery books from like Post op patients that no longer need the books, and I figured I would ask on here.. If thier is anyone that has any Weight loss surgery books of any kind they no longer need, and would like to pass down to a pre op patient I would so send money for postage and handling if they dont need them anymore Multiple copies I dont mind because I can donate them to a local support group that is trying to get started so they can use them.. just a very inactive board, i think. I'm here too. spend most of my time reading the main board. which type surgery are you looking into? I had the nonadjustable band in 2001, but had to have it removed. I'm looking to get the lap adjustable band placed ASAP.

I have already been approved for the Laproscopic RNY, but there is a waiting list at the hospital.. My Husband is Military so I am having it at Keesler medical Center in Biloxi. I had my consult on March 4th as of yesterday there were 30 people on the waiting list so I know I am not number 30. They are only budgeted to do one a week. I also know that some of those are getting tierd of waiting and deciding to go on the outside to get it done but Tricare doesnt cover Laprocopic if you have it done on the outside. I have already had alll of my tests done so really all I am waiting on is a date.. As for the main board its been rather PMSing lately but all around its a pretty awesome group of people...
