Good golly miss molly ... I tell you what.. it never did cross my mind about emotions and mood swings post-op, but I made it through it. I was tee total hard to be around, hard to take care of and very hard headed . I wasnt aware of the mood swings I was going to be having my 1st week post-op. I do not miss the food .. but i have been so bad to alot of the ones I love. I guess maybe I feel like some of them do not understand what I just went through.(which they dont ) I just wanted to let those of you that are pre-op know about the mood swings to better prepare yourself and family. I am feeling better now and hope those bad moods are gone forever. Today makes 1 week for me

HI Donna , I am doing great now. I am enjoying light meals and drinking plenty. I have not weighed since last Thursday, but at that point I was down 34 lbs. I am feeling great and tomorrow is my month check-up and I will begin the proteins . I know I made the right decision to have surgery. Its good to put on clothes and realise they are way too big. I am in a size 18 pants and they are baggy- I need to lose this intertube..lol maybe its the last to go. As far as staing a non-smoker,..umm..well,... that didnt last too long. I am going to work on that. How are you doing? TAlk soon.. Lisa
