hello, I use to live in Miss. and I live in Georgia now.... I have been researching the LapBand for months and now awaiting for insurance approval before the dr. will do anything.... I have not had it done but that is so far the thing for me and can't wait to have it done.... You can look on Dr. Champion here in Atlanta he has a web site you can do some research , hope this helps I have been talking to a lady on this site named Sherri from Dalton Georgia and she had it done 3 yrs. ago by Dr. Ponce in Dalton and she said she loves it and has not had any problems and lost 191 lbs so far... it is slow losing which is what you want from what I can understand......
