I'm going to give it another try..

Hi everyone , Well I think I am going to give it another try. You know I backed out on my surgery January 26th. This time I am going to have the support there that I didnt have before. The darn waiting period from the time you get your IV in and the time they actually give you a sedative is killer!! I had my parents and guy friend there the 1st time and they all were back there in the pre-op room with me - they stood there all red-eyed & pushing back tears and that kinda got to me. I talked to the coordinator yesterday and I called my parents today- told them they would not be allowed to see me until after the fact..haha I now have friends that have already had the surgery who will be there with me. Whewwwwwwww Thank God for them!! Jaunine- You Go Girl!! Jaunine , Janet and maybe Joyce will be there in pre-op with me to reassure me and help me wait out that long period between when they take you to pre-op and when they get you ready and sedated for the trip to the lighter side. Thanks to all for all the well wishes and prayers before. I will get back to you about my surgery date - if all goes as i hope. God Bless!! Lisa Townsend
