Hi everyone, I have been researching wls surgery for months now. I very much want to have the surgery. My only problem is I have no insurance and have not found any means of finanacing this type of surgery and there are not many who take self-pay patients. If anyone out there might have some information that will help me, I would be grateful. I am in desperate need of this. Thank you Tamara Salas

Have you checked with vocational rehab. I know several people in my area that they have paid for. Check in your area

yep, Tamara, Vocational Rehab! My sister knows a girl that had WLS at the University in Jackson using Vocational Rehab and the cost to her was $0!!!!! Yep, not a penny! Give it a whirl. Dr. Roger Blake does WLS at the Univeristy, but don't know who my sister's friend used. Good luck and keep us informed. Arlies
