News from the Doctor!!!

I am so thrilled. I went to my doctor in Hong Kong today and she cut my blood pressure medication in HALF!!!! After surgery, when I came back home, my pressure went back up, and the doc felt it was safer if I continued taking the BP meds. I was so crushed, but did not want to have a stroke. Now at least it is half. And maybe soon none at all!!! I hope!!!!

Thanks! I was so happy, it seems like such a small thing but I was so happy cause I would like to not be on any meds if possible! I still have to go to the cardiologist to have him reacess my meds but in the meantime the doc said that I could try the half dosage as long as I monitor my BP......

YEAH!!!!! It is great!!! My bp meds have been cut in half, tho I think I am about ready to give them up!!! and my psycho meds have dropped by 2/3s!!! Are we awesome????? smoochies Arlies

Definately Awesome! Getting healthyer by the day. Took my BP today with half dose and it was 126/72 which is good! Hopefully the top number will also stay down and the Heart Specialist will say that the half dose is ok when I go..... I am proud for you that your meds are cut down so much. I think that the psycho meds are fine when needed but it is so much better when you can be free of all of that. I didnt get any psycho meds from the dr. but here in HK it is hard to get them anyway, although I am sure at some points I have needed them. Weird how the brain works when weight loss is involved and I also know that I am a bit compulsive about food and maybe other stuff. Highly impatient too. Don't know if it is my job or me........
