I'm new to the board and I'm looking to find out if anyone knows a Dr in Arkansas that takes Medicaid/Medicare? Thank you so much for all the post I read them all and they were helpful so I'm hoping to get the same help.
Hi I'm new to all this but been wanting the sleeve I have Medicai/Medicare with UnitedHealth and I live close to Arkansas can you give me some info on the Dr Baker at Baptist?
Dr. Price was my surgeon. I went to his support group before surgery and a few times afterward. The last time I went it was geared towards pre-ops so I never went back. I haven't been back to his office for 4 years, but I'm thinking of making an appointment
Congrats on your surgery. Hope you have a quick recovery. Remember, once the honeymoon phase is over, you will need to eat healthy, avoid bad cards and get in your protein. Learn now to eat properly. I've had some regain and it's because I got sloppy with my eating. My meals are small but grazing gets me in trouble.

Dr. John Price
Kansas City, MO
Just wonder how your first appt went. I just had RNY surgery Aug 16, 2016. Hope it went great.
I live southeast of Kansas City, but just had RNY surgery on Auugust 16th this year in KCMO. They have a monthly support group that meets at the St Lukes Hospital Peet Center on the plaza. They also have one at St Lukes South, I believe in Overland Park, KS. You can contact Dr. John Price MD at (816) 932-7900 to obtain a schedule. Good luck

thank you
Did anything come of your question about forming a small support group? I had Roux-N-Y a week ago and am looking for a small support group in St. Louis.
I'd be happy to coordinate the group or host the group in my home, if that would facilitate moving forward. Thoughts?

If you don't mind me asking, what dr. did you see at St Luke's? I had an appointment that same day. and just curious of your experience.
Hi all,
I just moved to the Saint Louis area and I'm wondering if there is a coffee or support group that meets on the weekends. I had an RNY in 2009 and have slowly gained weight and am now back on track t losing weight again.
Thanks,
Tammy
