lol no i dont think Zumba would be for you at all if you dont like latin music....but you are right if you go every day and just walk for at least 30 minutes ...you will find you are able to walk farther and farther as the days go by in that 30 minutes.
take care.

You might want to check into a procedure called the Rose procedure , they do it i think at columbia, they go down your throat and make the stoma at the end of your pouch smaller by putting stitching around the top of it and sort of gathering it up ....makes it a lot smaller so the food you eat stays in the pouch a lot longer so you cant eat any more...and that way there is no unhooking or re hooking things up ...and no other incisions on the stomach either. if Dr. H was willing to do a revision im sure you would qualify for the Rose ...since Dr. H is very conservative about revisions, which is good i think.
any way you might call him and see if he thinks that might be something he thinks would work for you.

Well it is suppose to be 100 again today the only thing that might make it feel less is the fact that it is suppose to be cloudy today....wi**** would rain...we could use more ...when it is so hot like it has been then it could rain at least every other day as far as the plants go. I have a beautiful second crop of green beans all blooming really good. hopefully i will get to put more of them up in the freezer with this crop...i have two rows of them planted ...the last ones i had only about 5 plants and we ate them a lot and gave some away to the neighbor and still put up some in the freezer. but would like lots more of them. Most people love green beans and they taste just about as good frozen as they do fresh...George said he always thought green beans tasted nasty until he ate my fresh ones , he said those things out of cans from stores dont taste nothing like that. lol by cooking fresh veggies for him i have gotten him to change his mind about veggies and is eating a lot of them ....so he isnt just eating meat and potatoes...and bread.
Well cant stay too long this morning , i need to get outside and get started on a couple of things before it gets too hot. I have meds to call into pharmacy for refills and need to call Joes doctor to get him sit up with more shots for his back. wish we could afford them for my back ....even with medicare and the insurance we have too it still leaves a couple of hundred we have to come up with for each shot every time. ..cant get ahead for falling behind lol
whoops i need to get the trash out to the curb this morning , they will be here in about 30 minutes. got to go love you all you all that posted yesterday i posted after you while ago....sorry i didnt get to it last night was just too too tired

Here's the recipe you requested! It is one of my families favorites! This makes a LOT so you might want to down size it for just you and Max. :)
Chicken Enchilada Recipe~by Janet
3-4# of chicken (if you use tenders OR boneless-you can use 3#-if bone in-more....) **Note, I always bake my chicken breast and put McCormick’s Fajita Seasoning on them before I bake them. Really does help the flavor!
2 pkgs Cream Cheese (can use low fat/no fat)
2 small cans of diced green chilies (haven’t been able to find one large....)
2 large cans of green enchilada sauce
1 pkg of flour tortilla shells-soft taco shell size (NOT big burrito size) 10-12 per pkg
1 pkg of your favorite cheese (depends on how much you like to use-8 oz-???-and can use fat free/low fat)
Different toppings-sour cream, guac, lettuce, salsa, onion, tomato-etc etc.
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
Cook and season chicken as you like (I bake mine). When done, let cool down, then shred and set aside. In a saucepan, over medium heat, melt the 2 pkgs of cream cheese-stirring frequently, when melted, add the 2 cans of green chilies and stir well. Add the shredded chicken and stir until well blended. Remove from heat. In a cake pan, pour enough green enchilada sauce to coat the bottom of the cake pan. Take flour shell, and put chicken mixture in it length-wise. Fold up like a burrito and line them in the cake pan, SEAM SIDE DOWN. Do this until your mixture and/or shells are gone (I often times use cake pan and a smaller pan as well). You can make them as thin OR as full as you would like-but it just HAS to overlap a bit (so it stays together-and you don’t want the mixture coming out the ends, either). Once pan is full, pour the rest of the cans of green enchilada sauce over them-coating and covering all well. Cover with tin foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil, top with your favorite cheese, and bake an additional 5-10 minutes, until cheese is melted and looks a little bubbly. Remove from oven and top with favorite salad fixings. (I put them on the side-sour cream, lettuce, guacamole (sp?), salsa-you get the picture.....
**I put my cream cheese with the undrained chilis into the microwave for about 1 to 2 minutes and mix throughly...hate having to slow cook it on top of the stove.
The recipe says 1 package of tortillas but we used 3 today. I use the low fat ones and they are really good...kids don't know the difference.
Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do.
Hugs

Please do pray for Greg. He finishes his classes next Friday. He is anxious to get back to work. There have many obstacles but he's seems determined. My husband has become such a great stepfather. Greg is comfortable talking to Max and Max is always ready to do anything to help him and encourage him. They talk about things he's not going to talk to his mother about.
I have the Kindle and yes I love it as much as I thought I would. So far, I've only gotten free books from Amazon. They download within 60 seconds. I think to download to the Nook you have to use a computer. It's so handy to carry in my purse. I still get books at the library but the Kindle goes to work with me and I use it at lunch.
I'd like that recipe for Janet's Enchiladas.

Daily Devotional
"Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves"
(Romans 12:10, NIV)
What are you devoted to in your life? Being devoted to something is simply being loyal by giving of your time, affection and resources. Many people today are devoted to certain restaurants, television programs and even their cell phones! There's nothing wrong with any of that, but we have to examine our own hearts and see if we are being devoted to the people God has placed in our lives. Are we honoring others above ourselves? The world's system says to "look out for number one—yourself," but God's system says "look out for others, and I will look out for you."
Today, as you examine your own heart and life, ask the Lord to show you ways that you can honor others. One way is by simply being faithful to your word. Be a person of integrity and honor. As you live your life devoted to one another and honoring others, you are actually honoring God. He will repay you for your kindness and reward you in this life and in eternity!
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, teach me to be a person of honor. Teach me to be devoted to others the way You desire. Fill me with Your love which is all that matters in eternity. I bless You and thank You for Your goodness. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Maybe doing the protein drinks for a few days will de-carb you and help you get on tract with a good food plan.
Good luck to you.
