im busy this morning getting things ready for the party.....keeps looking like rain and we had planned on most everything being outside ...oh well the only thing that really is neat outside is the smores .and even that can be done inside over my gas stove lol...Joe can grill the hotdogs instead of us roasting them over the fire outside. but what ever it will be fun....

We had a great meeting last night again Tammy thanks for faciliting it for us.
Good to have a couple of new members there last night too. One is just starting her journery and the other is waiting for a date.  Which reminds me  :::::::::today is my surgerversery....lol    4 years today...would do it again in a heart beat. almost wish i could so i could have that new feeling again lol
Ive been out this morning already and weeded for over an hour. good grief the weeds love this hot dry weather i guess. pulled up a rounded wheelbarrow full....

Jo that would be great to get to meet you in Sept....the meeting tho is the 17th in Sept....sometimes it is isnt always the same time due to reserving the meeting room....Tammy gave us a list of dates for the rest of the yhear and i wrote them down ...I hope i am telling you right. I will find out from her and then let you know for sure. ok...Would be great if several of you could come down at the same time and since it is on friday , stay over night and we could go shopping or something the next day....

Yeah im with your doctor on the mal absorbtion thing. and yes i do two protein drinks a day most days  it will also keep you from eating junk too.  and if you dont stretch your tummy out i dont see how you can possible eat enough protein since we do have the mal absorption thing going on....that is the reason i try to get in at least 60 grams of protein in the whey drink of some sort and then eat at least 50 or 60 more which we digest all of the whey protein but dont know how much of the other protein we get ...just know that we dont get it all ....if we dont get all of our vits it stands to reason we dont get all of our protein too. our gut doesnt say ok lets see that is vit. we arent going to get all of that and this is protein  we will take all of that ...lol . any way so far i havent gain but a few pounds back and i up my protein drinks and lost it and since it has stayed the same ....so must be doing something right. my sister thinks i dont eat enough at all but if that was true i should be losing more and more and i dont i stay steady ...i hope to try and lose some more this fall when the weather cools down some , the only exercise i can do out here is walk....but sure cant do it in this heat and will up the protein and water and see what happens. anyway....listen to your doctor he has his head on straight about that...

Hey Barb, I decided not to have the complete revision done. But Jan had mentioned the ROSE proceedure where they go with a scope down your throat and make the opening smaller. So I'm trying to find someone who will do it. Take Care, Tammy
