just got in from putting the soaker hose on the garden...the beans are looking like they want to dry up ...no wonder in this horrible heat that we have been having and from the looks of the forcast it is goingi to be another week of it ....good grief, enough all ready.

going with Joe this morning to his pain management doctor. He needs to sit up another appointment to have the epidurals done again. he is starting to really hurt a lot. dont know how we are going to pay for it , guess we will just have to let something else go and do it.

i need to go see about my knee that is still crocked but cant afford the co pays that will come from that. no one can look at anything anymore and say anything unless they have thousands of dollars worth of test done. crazy dont they teach them in doctor schools anymore???

well enough gripping. does any one want any flower seeds this fall?? i can get you  Balsum , mixed colors, Zinnia, marigold, cone flower pink, black eyed susans, morning glory, hollyhocks, think that is about it. cant think of any thing else right now. ...

well need to get busy have to get my protein coffee down and get showered and dressed,

Hello New poster here...I am going to have my VSG surgery at DePaul Hospital in St Louis, mo with Dr Stephen Scott.... I am self pay as GHP does not address WLS or really any wellness programs.  My questions why does DePaul cost so much?  I have been quoted 25K for the surgery, 2 day hosp stay and 3 month f/u visits.  In KC and the Chicago area I have been quoted price of 12-15K with the same or more f/u months added.  And they are Centers of Excellence.  I want to stay in St Louis as driving for f/u visits would be difficult out of state. Just wondering I have been pleased with my care so far at DePaul, I dont wnat to change facility or providers , Just wondering  as I will be back in debt for a long time to pay this off and a few thousand off would help GREATLY!

The biggest issue on my plate is worrying about the catheter since I had issues going potty for 15 weeks after I had my last abdominal surgery...


Nerves to pieces about that.. otherwise I would like to get right in tight with everyone to wedge myself in for the ride...

 Went back to work today. I figure four weeks was long enough. I was really tired when I got home but managed to cook dinner.
Hear the heat is coming back. Just what we all need. We got the power bill today and was I surprised. I thought it would be much worse. I am not sure when it cut off so it might hit on the next bill. I wish I could afford a windmill and solar panels.
