Hi, Mama Jan & Mo Peeps:

I've done very little today.  Yesterday drove to Nevada, MO to deliver Compassion Kits that will eventually make it to Dubai.  Enjoyed the ride with two people who are like my second parents.  Then had lunch with them and another couple that we sent to church with for years.  Truly enjoyed the day.  Was asleep by 10pm last night and slept until 1:00pm today!

I thought I was technically in menopause.  Had went 12 months without a period as of the end of July.  Well, Monday, Aunt Flo decides to show up!  I cannot tell you how disgusted I am!  I had just went for my pap smear two weeks before and even my blood work shows I'm in menopause!  I called my GYN and of course he wants a sonogram.  I'm going next week for that and will see him directly after-wards.  Please pray it's nothing serious.  To tell you the truth, my emotions have been all over the place these past few months.  Honestly, I've felt like I was going insane.  Does the emotional roller coaster ever end!?

DH's job is still up in the air.  I think that's some of the stress I feel.  At this point, all I know is that I would like to feel good again and not have so many worries.  Not sure that's going to happen...at least in this lifetime.

Mama Jan - I will pray that you find someone who will fix your knee!  I'm so sorry you've had so many problems with that one!  Are you and Sugar still planning on coming up to the Mound City Craft Festival?  It's Oct 9th.  It's always so much fun!  I know Barbara S. is coming and I think Jo may too.  Becky is going to be here too!  Would be fun if you and Sug could come too!

Susie - hope all the drama in your life goes away too.  Life is hard enough without drama!

Janet - so good to "see" you on the board again!! I'm sorry you're having so much pain!  Will keep praying for you my friend!  Would love to have that Salisbury Steak recipe you made today for your family!  Sounds like something my family would love too!

MO Peeps - hope all of you are doing well.

I'm going to call it a night and go to bed.  Am still sooo tired.  Will pray for more energy tomorrow.

Love you all!

Know you don't want to change doctors now but really, you don't have that many follow-up visits after gastric surgery. Not like a band where you have to have fills. I think I had a two week and then a three month and then a one year. Kansas City wouldn't be too bad. I drove from Springfield to KC, Kansas for Plastics to save four thousand dollars and have had a few followup visits but sure not four thousand dollars worth. AND I have the most awesome plastic surgeon in the world.

Hi Jan and OH Peeps-
Its been such a very long time since I have posted in here. Jan, I told you I would TRY to get in here, so here I am. I am trying......

Remember Mike and I's friend, Wally-who was VERY large and NEEDS the surgery and lives in TX? Well, his dad has started a RNY account for him since his mother passed away and she wanted Wally to have the surgery-and he is getting the surgery-and he finally found a scale that would weigh him, and he weighs over 550#. So, please keep him in prayer that it wont take long.......I know he will feel so much better!

The boys went back to school yesterday, so maybe I can get on a schedule and start posting on a regular basis. They are getting so big-and so is my grand-daughter. Its so crazy.

I feel for Joe-My back is killing me, too. I have a very large cyst/tumor on my spine and its causing me so much pain-its just incredible.......they cant do surgery right now, but as soon as Im cleared for it-Im going to have it taken off, that WILL help with the pain-YAY, thank goodness.

Whats up with your knee? Is it your first knee replacement or your 2nd one? I will keep you both in my prayers.

I put on the familys favorite dinner-salsibury steak for dinner-actually started it last night so it could soak in the gravy overnight.......they LOVE it. Anyway-tomorrow morning I have some errands to run and then I may have time to come in and post again. Im still working on my book too-hope to get it done by the end of this year and Stephanie is designing the cover. I gave her 3 different ideas and I want to see all 3, and we will go from there.

Well-I hope everyone is doing well-
Love and Prayers to all,
Janet

I did give him that information, and he told me to consult with my urologist. Which I did and Dr. Tackett advice was not to do it, if it's not broke don't fix it.

I had Dr. Tackett relay that to Dr. H and well his thing is it's necessary no way around it. I hate to sacrifice the whole peeing thing.. that's just bad, I can go without eating..but not peeing

One of the tree got eaten by the beetles but the other is about 2 1/2 feet tall and looking good. I hope it grows fast. Thanks again for them.
Hope everyone is doing well. I am stressed to the hilt today.I just hate living with all the drama. I think I need to find a rock to crawl under for a few weeks. Keep me in your prayers.

If they are all centers for excellency the difference in price is enough to make me drive 300 miles. I drove 3 1/2 hours for my plastics to save  money. My RNY surgeon is a good two hours away from me. I figure I have more time than money.
