Hi OH,
Sorry I haven't been on here for a while, it's been crazy here for the last two weeks. Had to stop taking the Chantix, it was making me have severe mood swings and I messed up on a delivery, I was having trouble concetrating and didn't check an important number when I picked the (wrong) package up. I only lost the pay for the trip, and I thank God that I have a great boss, anyone else would have probably fired me. Oh well, called my Dr. and stopped taking it and am feeling like my old self again.
Am going to use my faith in God to help me quit. Speaking of that I am being baptized this Sunday at Theodosia. Am really excited about it, have found a good church to attend, where I feel welcome, and not being judged by my appearance.
Am still losing weight, weighed in at 263 this morning, so 102 lbs lost.
I'm really tired, so think I will post this, eat supper and go to bed. I'm taking the day off tomorrow, so will get on here and spend time reading and catching up. Hope you are all doing well.
HUGS
I am about to give up on flowers. I am buying plants for my pots that come back next year and use mostly pots and just on the patio. The weeds can have the rest. I am tired of fighting them, they grow in flood and drought. I bet if I planted them they would die.
1 pkg. onion soup mix
10 oz. Catalina dressing, low fat
1 cup sugar free apricot preserves
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray baking dish with Pam. Mix soup mix, dressing and preserves together. Pour mixture over pork chops. Bake for one hour.
NOTE: This make a lot of sauce. You could probably cut back on the dressing and preserves but it would change the taste a little. Next time I will use half the mixture and freeze the other half. This is good on chicken too.

The wire Max is getting is called Neuro Stimulation. It will be attached to the outside of his back and he will have a remote. If it works, it will be put under the skin and he doesn't think he will use a remote to control it. Sure hope this thing works. He complains way too much. I'm off for a week starting September 6 and I have a lot of painting I want to get done and I don't want any complaining.
A few months ago I started making a dress but I never tried it on. It was a new pattern, new size and I didn't want to be disappointed when it was too tight. BUT... it fits just fine. Actually, it could be a little tighter but I will wear a belt with it. Yes, a belt!! Now, I'm psyched to start sewing for myself.
Barbara called to see if the clothes fit and I told her they must be juniors because none of them fit. Her comment was she can't wear them since she went from a C cup to a D cup......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Maybe she does like I used to do and avoids mirrors and just sees from the neck up. She said XL is the biggest size she has. Oh well, I can't let it bother me. If she would stop drinking Mountain Dew by the gallon she would probably lose weight. She is a pretty girl and she has stuck by my son thru all his ups and many downs, so I appreciate her for that.
I'll post the Pork Chop recipe. Very easy and delicious.

In chapter 8 of Job Bildad explained his idea’s to Job through 3 stories. The first story he told was about plants that grow near the river, withou****er such plants die quickly. The plants are like people who do not obey God, without God we are hopeless. We sometimes forget that our lives are God’s gifts, John 1:4. The second story is about a spiders web. A web might seem to be strong but really it is weak. People who forget God may seem to be strong but they have no security so their lives are weak. Jesus said in Matt. 7:24-27 that people like this, their lives are like buildings without a good foundation. The third story is about a plant in a garden, this plant has everything it needs so it grows well but the gardener removes the plant and leaves it to die. This story is sort of like Jobs life, he was doing so well but now he is dieing. I think Bildad told this story because he did not want Jobs life to be like the plant that was dieing. Because of Jobs prayer Bildad thought Job was turning away from God so he warned his friend not to. As we keep reading in Job, there are some valuable lessons to learn that we can apply to our lives today.
Today’s Reading
Job 8:1-11:20
1 Corinthians 15:1-28
Psalm 38:1-22
Proverbs 21:28-29
Daily Devotional
"A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother"
(Proverbs 18:24, NIV)
Do you know how important it is to be connected to the right people? Your destiny is too big to accomplish on your own. But God has already arranged for certain people to speak faith into you. He has already placed in your path people who will inspire you, challenge you and help you accomplish your dreams. But the reason some people never reach their highest potential is because they never get away from the wrong people.
Recognize today that not everyone can go where God is taking you. You've got to connect with people who understand your destiny and can call forth your seeds of greatness. You don't have time to spend on people who are always pushing you down, telling you what you can't do, or never giving you their approval no matter how hard you try. Friend, life is too short to drag people along. If you will get the wrong people out of your life, then God will bring in the right people so you can fulfill the destiny He has in store for you.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father in heaven, thank You for placing the right people in my life. Help me to discern the right connections You have for me. Give me strength to release the wrong relationships so I have room in my life for the people You have chosen to connect with me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
Spent my afternoon looking at realtor.com for a house near Dallas. No need to worry it is not going to happen. I think I am stuck with this house for a while. At least till prices start coming back up. I just wish the yard could take care of itself.
Gotta figure out what to cook for dinner, not at all hungry but DH will be soon. Hope you all had a good weekend.
Tomorrow Max is having that wire called Neuro Stimulation on his back. If it works it will be implanted under the skin in a few days.
The BD dinner for my son was really good. The pork chops in the sauce were delicious. I'll post the recipe. I made Greg a dozen cookies. I put a Silicone baking sheet on the cookie sheet. You don't need to grease them or spray and whatever is on it slides off. They slid off ok.....right into the dogs' water bowl. I was so mad!! All those ingredients wasted and what a mess to clean up. The next batch I sprayed the cookie sheet.
Jan, when I was growing up, kids shared rooms like your family.....girls in one room and boys in another. One of my friends had 2 sisters and a brother. The girls shared a big bedroom and the boy slept on the couch. Now, kids have to have their own room, no sharing AND.....need their own bathroom. There was just my sister and I and our family only had 1 bathroom. I watch HGTV a lot and people looking for a house to buy are so critical, very picky, and I would be quite happy with the house.
I'm going to try and organize my woman cave. I've not worked out there a lot and I think it's because it's messy. My space has to be neat and organized.
Barbara brought me a bunch of clothes, size large, but they must be junior sizing because nothing fits. I'm so disappointed. Barb is a big girl, bigger than I ever was, but she talks like we are the same size. Really irritates me but I don't say anything.
Max went to SS and church and I should have gone, but I needed some ME time. I never get time alone and I really need that.
