Jan, if I won the lottery there's a lot I would do but there's no chance of that happening.  I have bought a ticket the last 3 weeks and don't even have one matching number.

I need to get my blood work done since I have an appointment next Thurs with my surgeon.  Haven't seen him since July 2009.

So far I'm doing well with eating and haven't weighed.  I'm tempted everyday to write down what I ate but I've refrained from doing that.  I've really cut down on snacking.  Before I eat I ask myself if I'm really hungry.  I've been drinking more water and green tea.  Only 1 snack between meals and only if I really feel hungry.

Im so glad to see all the people on here yesterday....so good to hear from a lot of you. Sure wish we could hear from a lot of the ones that use to be on here daily about 3 to 4 years ago...

Well between God and my friends on here who want let me have a falling apart day Thanks to all of you. When i get like that God sometimes grabs me and shakes me and hard. lol So all that has been said can be said and will continue to pray for my daughter and i will too. Would be wonderfull if she would get her life straightened out but Lord who knows if that will ever happen.

Went yesterday morning and had my blood drawn for my yearly test to be sent to Dr. H. It has been 4 years since i had surgery. wow that seems like a long time but looking back it certainly doesnt seem like 4 years ...I guess because i stay too busy doing things that i just dreamed about 4 years ago...I have lost 110 pounds and have gone from size 22/24 to 8/10s....if i could afford to have plastics done and remove all the excess skin off my body i really think i could wear a 6 /8 easy but dont think that will ever happen unless i win the lottery lol ...not a lot of chance of that happenng.

Sure wish we could get some rain. everything has just about dried up. I was going to dig the garden again and plant some cool weather crops but unless it starts to cool down and we get some rain it wouldnt do any good. ...dont guess we need them anyway the freezer is still packed ...

Havent doon much of anything other than get the blood work drawn. they had to take 13 vials of the stuff. wow. I told her that there should be enough there to be considered a blood donation lol
She said if she didnt get enough for all the test she would call me to come back in. so hope i dont hear from her .

im off today so will get laundry done up. GS is working 30 hours a week plus going to school so he will have money to take care of his needs....He applied for some grant the other day too. Hopefully he will be getting that soon. probably not a day too soon as his little car is about to die on him i think....

got to go and get to work doing something. love all of you.....

Hey All,
I am in the hospital in Sedalia. I have been having alot of pain and aching in my right upper stomach area. Lots of nausia and rapid heart beat. My reg Dr. ordered blood work and CT scan that I had done this morning. She said everything looked ok. So I called Margie and told her what was going on and she told me to come here and go to ER. I was a direct admit when I got here. Dr. Hornbostel will be in in the morning to look over CT scan and tell me what he has planned. Not sure if it's from the connection between the pouch and intestents causing the trouble or what. I guess I will find out tomorrow and let you all know. They are tring to just keep me comfortable tonite. Talk to you all tomorrow to let you know if I have to have surgery or not. Take Care, Tammy

just saw Dr H. today for my one year checkup w/blood tests.  He is as happy as I with my
results so far.  So many changes.  I am convinced that he is on a mission to help those of
us who are fighting this battle.  What other Dr. do you have who still says, call me at anytime
you need me.  How many other Dr.'s gave you his home ph #, his cell # and also his wife's
cell #.  He is on our journey with us.  I am so happy that I chose him for help.  Both he
and Margie are so helpful.    What a team !!!!!!!  see them next year.  Great report.  HAPPY ME

At this time Dr. Morgan is not accepting Medicaide patients.  Anyone know about Dr. Rossiter, Dr. Averneni or Dr. Modi at Smyth Glenn in Springfield?  I also need a doctor that believes in Fibro.

I am Susie and I am 22 months out and have lost about 115 pounds. I went from a size 24 pants to a 3 or 4. I felt like I was the slowest loser ever. I had a stall at three weeks out that lasted four weeks. I just knew I was a failure. Well guess what? I wasn't a failure. You may not lose like you expect to , but you will lose after RNY. I feel better than I have in years.
I have had a lower body lift (six weeks ago) and a thigh lift (last year). I am hoping for a face lift next, I say I am hoping. Plastics can get expensive but well worth it.

My best advice is to stay in a support group. It will help keep you on track.
Susie
