Topic: Hello to all my buddies!!!!!
Hello everyone. I wanted to let you all know that I have moved to Holts Summit, Mo. five miles north of Jefferson City, Mo. Im doing great. I still have problems with malnutrion and anerexia, but Im getting better each day. Im experimenting on eating new things. Its been a real struggle for me. Ive lost 2 family members over the last past month and Its been very hard on me. My apetitie has just not been there. I now weight 170lbs. I go back and forth from 168 to 170. I do have an appt with Dr. Hornbostel on the 19th of Oct now. I can go see him now much better that I live closer to them all.

I have to tell you that my faith in the Lord is so much closer than ever before. He has been really great to me and my family. He found us comfort when we lost our loved ones. I started my education last month and I got an A in my first college course. Iam 50yo in July and I cant believe i got an A. I still got it. LOL. I was a Nurse in the past and Im using some of my past education in that field to work on my Bach. Of Nursing. They say it will take me 1 and half years to get my degree. Im looking forward to working as a Nurse again.

I guess you can say, Im following in the footsteps of my two buddies Jan and Colleen on here. I want to do it right and take my time. Keep the faith. I cannot stress that enough. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is so wonderful. Ppl dont ever give him enough praise for what he does. Its been 3 years and 3 months since my surgery and I can say. If it werent for the Lord, and all you buddies I wouldnt have made it. I was talking to a friend earlier, telling him that I remember when Ms Jan Cook and I was a bit discouraged but we prayed and both found an excellent surgeon. I will never forget, sitting in the chair after surgery and Ms Colleen came in and gave me a present, a bible trivia book that I still have as a keepsake. They are my angels.

Pray for each other. Pray for our country, Pray for our health care providers. Keep the faith, Keep on keeping on. ...............Love to you all. Craig Lee Watts

Topic: RE: Waynesville meeting?
My Apologies!!! Things have been everything but calm around here lately.

We were supposed to meet this past Saturday, However Michelle & myself were both out of town for work.  But that was my last event so no more weekend conflicts (I hope)

Anyway we are still meeting the 3rd Sat of each month at the library in Waynesville @ 9 am.

We have added a second meeting starting in Oct. We will meet the 1st Thursday of everymonth at 6 pm at Army Community Service on Ft Leonard Wood.

Everyone is welcome to attend both meetings, they are free and even if you arent military you can attend the meeting on post.

If you need directions please let me know and I will be happy to send it to you

Susie,

I hope to be better at sending out notices now that I have left my job. I am hoping it will settle my life down some. I think the past 2  months I have lived more in my car & hotels than in my home. Sorry again, hope to see you soon & that all is going well for you.

((((Mama Jan)))))  Welcome Back!  I've really missed not "seeing" your beautiful face on the board!  I'm sorry you've been feeling blue.  Hope you start feeling better soon!  Hey, are you and Sugar going to come up for the Mound City Craft Festival on Sunday 10/10??  Would love to see you and give you a hug in person!

I'm subbing today for the same group of First Graders I subbed for on Monday.  The sub coordinator called me at 9:45 last night and asked if I could sub for her again today.  I hesitated but decided I really need to work when they call me.  So I'm back with them today.  So far so good. I'm hoping this afternoon goes better than Monday afternoon did!  We will see!

Gotta scoot.  Had a few minutes so I came home and let the girls out to go potty.  Put the Chicken Marsala in the crock pot for dinner.  I'd better be heading back to school.   It's really nice working less than 5 minutes from home! :)

Hope everyone has a GREAT Wednesday!

Thanks everyone that did the post for me ...i really appreciate it a lot. Just have been in a blue funk or something, dont know what is wrong. dont have anything to feel sad or depressed about, maybe that is the problem that i dont have anything to worry about lol  who knows?  just feel down and out for some reason.
I think a lot of it has to do with work and how stupid they are up there. Crazy people that just let certain ones get away with anything and others that cant do anything wrong. it is that way every where you work i know but just gets to me more now i guess. anyway

i have been busy working and trying to get my garden looking better. not a lot that can be done right now except clean out the dead stuff and pull what weeds are there. it just seems like a never ending thing anymore....I told Joe well i can have pretty gardens or i can work , it seems i cant do both lol ...but i am going to give them my notice in another month but by then there wont be anything left to the garden except pulling up stuff and collecting more seeds ...
The ones of you that said you wanted seeds  i havent forgotten about you...I will bring some to the next support meeting and let you all pick out what you want....ok?

stipping bed linens and washing them today , also va******* all the furniture and mattresses lol saw that deal on bed bugs yesterday and have been itching ever since. dont have any bed bug bites but want to be pro active on this lol ....i remember my grandma telling me about them and saying that they use to put their mattresses out side in the sun shine over the clothes lines and beat and beat them ...that was feather mattresses she was talking about ...dont think it would work with intersprings lol altho the sun might kill them if you wrapped them in clear plastic and let them get that hot.

well got to go and pick my last bunch of green beans , will depend on how much i get whether i just cook them for supper or freeze them....talk to you all later. and thanks again all of you. love you

Ephesians 1:1-23
Psalm 66:1-20
Proverbs 23:25-28

Daily Devotional

"You crown the year with Your bounty and goodness…"
(Psalm 65:11, AMP)

The Lord has crowned your year with bounty and goodness! That means there is an abundant supply for whatever you may need—spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. He has also set up a system so that you can access His blessings. It's the system of seedtime and harvest. If you have a need in your life, sow a seed. For example, if you're lonely and need friends, sow a seed by being a friend to someone. If you have a financial need, pray and ask the Lord where you should sow a financial seed. The Bible says to give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. That's God crowning your year with bounty and goodness. Do you need mercy? Sow seeds of mercy. The more you sow, the more you will reap a harvest from God's abundant bounty.

Remember, He's already crowned your year with His goodness. Take a step of faith today and believe that God is ready to pour out His abundant blessing on you all the days of your life.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for supplying all my needs according to Your riches in glory. I submit my resources to You today and ask You to show me where I can sow seeds and be a blessing to those around me. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Jo,

Thanks for that link.  The grocery lists on that site are a lot better than the one's I've found on line!  I am definitely a list person so I will get a lot of use from that site and I love that it's FREE!

Do you like your Kindle?  I LOVE my Nook!! Take it with me when I substitute and it's so much easier than carrying around the big books I had been taking with me.  I've gotten a few really good free books and I've bought a couple too.  It's so NEAT!  :)

Thanks again for the link for the grocery list.  I really appreciate that!

Great to hear. Dr. H is a sweetheart isn't he? Couldn't ask for a better Dr. Congrats on the weight loss. Since my surgery 7 years ago each time my hubby talks to someone about this surgery he always tells them to hang on and watch them melt away!!!...LOL

Jeanie,
Glad to hear you're studying the bible. That is life's instruction book but waiting is hard. I love "things" and have a hard time resisting them - especially clothes and shoes.

It was so good to see everyone Friday night. I hope all will make an effort to be there next month too. It is such a high when everyone is there and sharing. I love you all.

Hugs, to Tammy for all you do for all of us - getting the room and trying to keep us on track.

I'll be traveling for a few days so may not be on here but know that all of you are in my prayers.

Hugs and big loveys,
Lana

Topic: RE: Good morning for Jan

Good afternoon OH,

Haven't been posting have really had a crazy few days. How many times do we have to mess things up before we get it right. I'm getting impatient about getting back on the road, the courier job is just getting to hectic, after I pay for gas and the bills there just isn't any money left for the things I need and because of that I'm getting carried away with what I can do credit wise. I know better from past experiences than to charge more than you can pay for and have been doing ok with that, but went online yesterday and since I plan on going totally wireless when I start driving again looked at AT&T and let them sell me on a package that would have cost a fortune. Luckily I was able to cancel it and not owe them, but it made me feel like such an idiot.

I have found a good church family, and am learning to trust God and develop a relationship with Jesus, feel really great when I am learning all I can about the bible, and when I pray it's not for things it's for guidance and help in understanding what I'm learning. I just keep trying to take control again and then have to learn the lessons the hard way.

Susie~I miss Jan too, but I'm sure when she gets time she'll be back.

I really miss this whole group of people when I don't get on here everyday.

Need to post this, Love you all. Sorry for just ranting but have to get it out of my system. Could use all the prayers you can send up to help me be wiser and wait for God's help instead of trying to do all the driving.

HUGS
