The weather is great,just hope it lasts a while longer. It seems the trees have turned over night. Not a lot of color but they are changing.
I go see Dr H on Thursday for my checkup. I feel great except for not sleeping so its just to check in.I am not looking forward to the drive but I may put a pillow in the car to sit on.

Good evening OH,
Well I made a promise to three people that I would not buy anymore cigarettes. My older son was one of the people, I was the second and God was the first. My son called me this morning about 2 minutes after I put my 2nd cig in my mouth and asked if I had bought any, I couldn't lie so told him I had, he didn't have to say anything, cause I had let all 3 of us down. Got rid of the cigarettes and called him back and recommitted to not buying anymore, am home trying to keep my hands busy, this is gonna be tougher than I thought, but have to do it.
Jan~It is so awesome to see God working in your loved ones lives. He can work miracles over night, I saw the evidence in my middle son. will keep Michelle and her other half in my prayers.
Susan~I'm doing ok. Have to have a stress test next week, then will have all the stuff evaluated and dr. will give me a letter, hopefully it will say I am fit enough to drive commercial vehicles. After I pass the DOT physical I will start school.
Am glad to hear Andy is doing good. Will keep you both in my prayers too, keep a tight rein on him and make sure he does what they tell him. Been going since really early again, so will post this and try to get a little nap. As much as I've been driving you'd think I'd have a big check (not).

Hello to all.hope everyone is having a great monday.sure is nice here today.only 77 degress at the moment.supposed to rain today and tomorrow but none yet.the tulsa fair just ended on sunday and it did not rain the whole 11 day's.last year it rained 8 of the 11 we were told.andy is doing better.had to hog tie him to make sure he did what the doctor told him to do lol.
jan how is work going for you?sound's like they sure are keeping you busy.does your grass need to be cut again.sure does not take long for it to grow.you have a lot there to cut.
barbara how is your furry baby doing?i would be worried about mine too they are just like kid's.
susie hope you are feeling better.
jeanie rae how are you doing these day's.be sure to spoil those grandbabies when they stay over.that is what you are supposed to do.lol.

So we get our checks on the 10th and the 25 but if those fall on sunday we dont get it until the 11 which is today but the banks are closed today for holiday and we cant get checks into the ban****il the 12th sure does seem like a long time to wait for a check but i guess the next check wont seem so long off lol
am anxious to get my check and get to call one of the smaller credit cards i have and pay them off. whew.!!!! fun times lol
looks like it might rain today doesnt it? at least here it does , we need it too. hasnt rained in quite awhile ...Joe says no dont rain then he will have to mow again lol lazy man..
Michele called me this morning from her work and said that she thinks they have bought a house. well leased to own. she said it just sort of fell in their lap . God has been so good to them . Since they gave their lives over to God things have been happening for them for the good.
I give thanks everyday that they are keeping themselves clean and sober. They still are having their prayer and bible reading time early mornings with their coffee on the front porch.
Anyway she said she thought they were going to start cleaning the new place up this afternoon and get things ready to move in....she was asking me what all i had to donate to their new house lol

Susie~I'm not as far out as you, Jan and MeAGN, but I know exactly what you are talking about. When I get gas at one of our local convenience stores they are right by the register and i can smell them all the way back out to the car. Haven't done to donughts, but have bought other sugary treats trying to tell myself they were ok, but still got sick. LOL, this is why i had the surgery. There are just so many things out there that call my name, guess i have to be reminded that they are not my best friend, and even if they make me feel good it will only last until they hit the lower part of me and make me sick.

PS I am not over keen on the hospital. I had a bad experience there in my immediate post op care but I think it was because it was New Years?!
