GOD BLESS YOU TODAY

I have 15 grandchildren and look forward to being more active with them and taking them places and being able to walk around and enjoy my time with them.
Very little rain up my way so far. WE could use some.
I got a new script for iron today, hopefully it will bring my numbers up. I was hoping I was eating enough meat, guess not.
Enjoy your weekend
We are here to help if we can. Keep your hands busy.
Tomorrow we are going to Firs****ch for breakfast. I have a free meal for my BD which is Sunday. Then we're going to look at a couple places to move to. One is a retirement village, all expenses paid except cable and phone. Not sure I want to live in a retirement center. I think it would make me feel old. The other place is apartments and $200 cheaper per month with all utilities paid except electricity. Not sure if Max can keep up with the yard work next year.
Saturday afternoon, I'm going to touch up the kitchen cabinets. We had them painted last spring but there are a few chipped places here and there. I was going to tile the backsplash but it was too much for me so I'm going to paint that area. If we decide to sell, I want things to be in good shape.
Sunday we are going to the Dinner Theatre to see Sylvia starring Cindy Williams from Laverne & Shirley.
Max had a scare yesterday. He was driving home and a car was following very close to him. Due to an accident, he turned on a side street. That driver turned also. He made another turn and the driver whipped around him and stopped. One kid got out and pointed his finger at Max. Poor Max was so scared. Within a few seconds a car pulled up behind him and it was an unmarked police car. As soon as the officer got out, the boys took off. Really scary. This was 1:00 in the afternoon.
Debbie, I'm off T-giving week. That's the only time I will have available until after January 1st. I'm off on MLK Day.
I have a question about protein and I should probably know this. People who have not had RNY don't have to pay attention to the amount of protein they consume daily. So, why is it we must have a minimum of 80 grams every day? I know there is the malabsorption problem. I'm having a problem getting in 80 grams because I can't eat much protein at a meal and I'm sick of shakes. I do add a scoop of powder to my yogurt and sometimes to my Click shake. I haven't been keeping track of the protein but I probably should.

Congratulations on getting your surgery date scheduled. I'm 2 1/2 years out and it was the best thing I ever did. I think everyone gets very nervous before the surgery. The liquid diet was awful but I made it with very little cheating. I kept thinking of the great benefits of the surgery. My surgeon didn't include SF Jello or popcicles but I had a few. Three days before the surgery I was so hungry for something tasty. I found a miniature Snickers and scarfed it down. I felt guilty afterwards but it was the best tasting Snickers I ever had!!
