well the freezer is full of deer meat once again....wish you could get several at one time so i would have it all year long...the way it is if it is just Joe and me we do have one for several months. dont know why but it is the one dense protein that i can eat and doesnt hurt my stomach. and it is full of protein the highest of any meat ....
I have to work tonight and monday night but told the guys i would cook them up a good meal on Tu\esday.
everyone dont forget that this coming friday the 19th is COF.....anxious to see you all again.
for some reason it has seemed like a long long time between the meetings this time does it to any of you?

Do any of you ever get bills for small things like magazines and other odd things at times? this past week i have gotten a bill for 2 types of magazines and for a book that i know i would never have ordered....i havent gotten the magazines or the book so i called the numbers on the bills and told them that im not paying for them that i never recieved them and i dont know who ordered them but it sure wasnt me. one book was about how to plant and grow iris lol well let me tell you what if i dont know how to do that one yet a book isnt going to help me any lol  and one of the magazines was for women weight lifters  yeah that is just what i would order.  dont know if someone is thinking that this is a joke or what.....no they didnt use my credit or debit cards and pay for them just ordered them and had them to send me the bill...i ask them what address was the mag and book sent too and they said 140 Gregory, my address, i told them that if they came i would mail them back to them but i wasnt going to pay for them and they need to put my name on the watch list or something.

Sun is shining so pretty but it is still cold out there isnt it? went out for awhile to walk around and like to froze...

went to the deer hunters supper last night ...won some jewerly....sort of pretty was 3 necklaces  2 of them i will wear but the other one isnt me at all.....if im going to wear jewerly it has to be sort of funky looking ....worth putting on and having someone notice it lol

well got to get off here and get ready for work...not enough time for me to do much else. love you all

Hi Jeanie  good to hear from you , so so sorry about your DD father in law. is alway hard to lose them but the good thing about being aChristian , and hopefully he was. is that you will see them again....
good for you on the pap mac....mine and Joes are C paps but they both have the readable cards in them and we have to see our sleep clinic doctor once in a while and take the card in to them ....any sleep clinic can read them for you. do they require that they send DOT the results of the card?

You should send Debbie D or Jo a private message and meet up with them today or tomorrow. I know they would love to meet you.

love and hugs ....dont forget the 19th....

Topic: In KC again

Hi everybody,

Kind of a mixed week, on the down side we are in KC again to say good-bye to a member of our family. My DD's Father-in-law passed on Thursday, he was a very much loved member of our extended family and we will miss him. He had been sick for a long time, and we all know he is in a much better place.

On the up side, I am ready to take DOT physical. Went to St. John's medical supply on Friday and got my new BPAP, it is DOT acceptable. I did find out that DOT requires me to have one that is downloadable, meaning I have to report to a facility that will record the use of my machine, have to use a minimum of 4 hours at a time, and must be used everyday of the month.

Hopefully will start school a week from this coming Monday. Then should be out on the road by the end of this year or the first of the year at least. Of course this is a good time of the year to start driving, the turn over for drivers is pretty high because of the Holidays and winter driving. Guess you can call me crazy, could have waited for Spring, but where's the challeng in that.

Love you all and have been reading, just not a lot of time to post, I'm guilty of reading and running lately. I hear somebody moving around upstairs so guess I'll make myself available to help with the kids.

Have a good Sunday, will keep you all posted on my progress.

LOTS AND LOTS OF HUGS

Hi Jan.... Yes Gail is doing alot better but still has his days.... Laura My sis n law had the surgery a week after me... she is still struggling with weightloss and is very malnurished. they did put the feeding tube in for about a month ... she was still losing weight with it plus it had started having blood drain from it so they removed it..hopefully she will get it figured out someday..

Well today starts Deer Season   lots of gun shots in the woods this morning. but not as many as usual on the first day of the season....Im off work today and the Deer Hunters supper is at the Old schoolhouse  tonightadition in this area for over 40 years.  it started out with everyone coming together on this night and bringing a dish, now it is catered and they charge 6.00 a person for the food . they have a raffle and silent auction and all sorts of stuff to raise extra money for the vol fire dept.  they keep the trucks runing and radios and the fire suits , stuff like that ....Last year there were over 600 people at the supper and they said they expect closer to 1000 this year. wow...lots of people for that little school house but they have built a huge big new garage on the back for the fire  trucks and that is where it will be now i think...
Im looking forward to going tonight...i dont see some of these people but once a year so i enjoy seeing them again.

Joe got me some bales of hay yesterday so guess i will get out there and  get it put on a few of the bushes that they say cant live thru the winter here in this area,. they say that my pineapple sage cant live over the winter here even covered with straw....but mine does....it has gone from a tiny little plant to this year was about 6 feet wide and about that tall...coved with little red flowers it is a sight to see. just wi**** bloomed earlier in the year.  when it is blooming the yellow butterflies just love it and it will almost look like it is yellow till you walk by it and the yellow flies off lol ....this is a bush i have beside the pathway so when you walk by it you brush up against it and it gives off this wonderful aroma of pineapple. you can use the leaves in tea and the pretty little red flowers look and taste really pretty in fruit salad. love this plant.

Also have another plant i need to dig this morning . I have had a hose dripping water on it for 3 days it should be fairly easy to dig now. we still didnt get much rain. i think we have gotten 1/2 inch over several days just drizzle here and there. would be ok if it would drizzle harder and for longer....all of the trees and bushes need a good drink before the ground gets frozen.....sure will hate it if i lose some of my things next spring...

we are getting very anxious to get out of here right after Christmas. Have been checking the price of the flight from Houston to Ecuador....daily it sure goes up and down. so far the cheapest we have seen it was 512 apiece round trip....it gets cheaper on Wed nights isnt that weird.

Next week we have to finish up the yard work and would like to get the Christmas lights up on the house on some pretty day...not today is for sure it is cold out there...temp here is 43 but the wind is blowing and it is cloudy .
Well better get busy....got a lot to accomplish today , dont know how much i will get done. it is so cold outside  to me....but it is suppose to be close to freezing at night all this week so need to get  the things done .....love you all talk later.

Jo that really is scary the story of Max and the young men...no telling what they were going to do. At least one time that you needed them a cop was on the job huh? that was a big exhale moment i know.

Protein....most people that havent had surgery dont worry about protein is that they eat such enoromous amounts that they probably get their protein in without trying....like how many of them can sit down and eat a huge steak? at one sitting ? a lot of them ...so how much can you eat of Steak? i know with me it is about 4 thinly sliced tiny little pieces , no where near protein levels for meat.
i just more or less keep track of my protein in my head.....i have 30 grams each morning in my protein coffee.....sometimes i will have another cup around noon....so that make 60 grams and then if i havent eaten much during the day i make a strawberry shake....smoothie. make with real frozen strawberries. nice and thick taste just like a thick smoothie you can buy at health bars.  dont know why i dont get tired of them , just dont because i know i have to use them....and i make them taste really good. ..
