Jo my heart gave a leap when you said your son wanted to go to church with you all sunday....that is so amazing...I will keep praying for him....

I know you are looking forward to being off next week....No one is going to be at our house on Thanksgiving day, not even me. I am working that day due to the fact that i get paid double if i work. so an easy way to get an extra day in without working an extra day lol ...

i wonder that a lot of the time about where is everyone ....everyone wants everyone else to post but not them lol

Jan, that's great that you got the gift cards and the promise of flowers in the spring.  I have wooden blinds and just love them.  When the sun goes down I want my windows covered.  Don't want anyone peeking in.

I'm looking forward to being off next week.  Nothing big planned.  I would like to get the bedroom painted but not sure I'll be that ambitious.

My son is coming up this evening and staying thru the weekend.  Last Friday evening he went to a program at the church for those with addictions and really liked it.  I was sure he wouldn't want to go back but he does.  He even wants to go to church with us Sunday.  I can hardly believe it.  His GF is not happy that he wants to come to our house, but they need some time apart.  She is so controlling and never misses a chance to remind him of everything he has done wrong.  I've spent a lot of time with her in recent months and I see a different person that I did previously.  I'm hoping he can find a job and do some kind of volunteer work.

Where is everyone?

Well yesterda y we were wondering how our finances were going to  last another week....when out of the blue we got150.00 in gift cards from places i had registered at at stores and online....yeah lol dont tell me God doesnt listen and care.  then this morning i won 2 flats of petunias that will be delivered in the spring for planting from off a flower web site. lol not only does he take care of our needs but gives us pretties and things that he knows will lift our spirits ....im as excited about the petunias as anything....they will be mixed colors....may try to make a really special place for them that will set off the house and them too. 

cleaned house yesterday ....wish i had one of those pod things to really clean out the house and put all the excess in there . i think i have enough stuff to decorate two or three houses ...too many tables too many what nots too many chairs. i have 3 rockers in my living room and surely dont need that many but they are all old and dont know which ones i dont want .....you know i so wish i hadnt gotten the wooden blinds for all the windows in the house. they are such dust catches. but you have to have something to close the window with and i dont like heavy drapes....i have sheers and valances in all my rooms. so the blinds serve a purpose even if we do live in the boonies ....

we are getting more and more excited about paying our bills off ...we are more than half way there...
have to figure no more than 3 more checks and that is the end of Dec. wow if we can only make ourselves stick with it with Christmas coming .
just will have to and tell everyone that we are only getting the babies something and that is it....of course i have already bought my two girls something so dont know how that is going to work. ....lol

anyway the weather sure is dreary and ugly....certainly is making me want to get out of here....

Jan wish I had a job that gave a christmas bonus. Wish I had a regular job. I am tired of teaching and working day to day. I never know when I will work and make almost nothing. If my house was paid for I would never work again. Well I guess I would since I have to help pay my kids way. I just need to win the lottery.

 I do not think I could ever drive a over the road truck. Hats off to you for doing it. I hope everyone who does is as good as you,so I don't have to worry about being run over. I have a class B license and used to drive a school bus. I could never get the hang of backing a trailer. It is hard. I am only four miles off I44 if you are by my way we should get together.

Passed the DOT physical, am waiting to get the paperwork done so I can start school next Monday. I think that is the biggest WOW moment so far since my surgery.

Debbie D~Feel the same about ff through the commercials, sometimes when I'm watching live tv, I pause it long enough to do that. When I get out on my own truck I will be through KC pretty regular, it's one of the most traveled routes for truckers. Will definitely get ahold of you and we will get together.

Jan~I am sure there will be lots of times when I miss DH, it is getting easier to think about the good memories, I choose to think of him in heaven with God and doing the things he loved doing on earth. You know I think the gifts from the heart that are made with our own two hands are the ones most treasured. I know the year I crocheted everyone hats and scarves was the most rewarding Christmas I had in a long time. I'm sure once you get the bills paid off it will be a big relief for you and Joe. I don't blame him for worrying about you working, you put in a lot of hours.

I'm sitting here in Springfield hoping for a job, have two bills to pay this week and if I don't get something good, will have to get ahold them and try to put them off for a few days. Am really excited about getting back out there where I'll have a regulare check every week, and not as many expenses.

Need to post, hope to see all of you Friday, I plan on being there.
