My husband went to the cardiologist Monday for his yearly checkup and was sent to the hospital. The doctor didn't like some things he was hearing and Max hasn't been feeling well. Yesterday they did a cathertization. He had some plaque but not dangerous levels. He is feeling much better and is coming home today.
I saw the allergist yesterday for this problem I've had for a month. I have a bad sinus infection. The Amoxcicillin I was taking after the oral surgery wasn't strong enough to knock it out. Now I'm on Augmenton. I already feel better.
Can't believe Christmas is in a week. Tomorrow morning I'm going shopping. In the afternoon I'm doing some baking. I'm not making candy and a bunch of cookies like I usually do. I'll make some breads to give away and pumpkin rolls.

It's really strange how our tastes change. I don't like the smell of fried foods nor the taste which is good. If I don't like the taste, there's no way I can swallow the food.

Jeanie congratulations sweetie...Im so very proud of you....I know this was your main goal and your dream to get back to the life you loved....guess it is as they say that it gets into your blood lol...
Do you know where and in what direction you will be driving or is it just all over and different directions.
Be really careful since this time of year has extra hazards in ice and snow....and lots of traffic with the holidays.....Love and hugs to you sweetie.....

OK here it is, took the driving part of the CDL Thursday morning at 07:30. At 09:00 I had my piece of paper in my hand that says I passed all testing. Bottom line I am now a CDL licensed truck driver. I leave for Omaha, Saturday and should be on a truck with a trainer by Wedsnesday or Thursday. I had to wake up this morning and pinch myself, this is a dream come true, and never would imagined it possible before I had my surgery.
I will have my laptop with me, and will stay on the board as much as possible. I just want to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS, and a GOOD AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.
Love you all so much. Need to get dressed and head out to school, have some loose ends to tie up today.
Dawn~just read your post, how awesome that you got your date, you will be so amazed at the freedom you will have after surgery. It changed my life so much. Am leaving Saturday for Omaha, but will have my laptop and be staying up with the board. I'm keeping you in my prayers and want to hear how you are coming along. Congrats for you.
Looking forward to seeing you after your surgery....cant wait to hear from your mom on Tuesday....you will do great...will be praying for you sweetie....love and hugs...
