Our BRHC Bariatric meeting went great last night, and several of the post op patients are now coming on a regular basis! A few of us decided last night that a little extra encouragement would be a great thing throughout the month, so on Sunday, October 7, we will be meeting at Denny's at 7 pm. We're just going to chat, discuss how things are going, and share ideas that work, so if you're in the area and would like to join in, please feel free!!
I just hit my 2 yr. surgiversary date and I have had my surgeon's referrel for plastics approved by my insurance company. is the Plastics Surgeon that I was recommended to. Has anyone used this surgeon and if so, how was she?

You're correct. Thankfully I found out at my follow-up appointment that I have a medium sized hiatal hernia, and that it (can) be fixed during the weight loss surgery, so that was a relief to hear.

Revision: Realize band to VSG....loving my sleeve!!
I had an Endoscopy done, and as I expected, I have a hiatal hernia. Has anyone's doctor in this area not performed the WLS because of the hiatal hernia? Or have they delayed your surgery because of it? Thanks! :-)
