Well it looks like it is gonna be another rainy chilly day today. But I am not gonna complain because I know in July and August when it is hotter then blue blazes. I will be wishing for rain. Isnt that how it usually goes we are never happy with what we have??
I am back home for right now. They put my mother in St. John's hospital on Thursday. The 2 masses they saw were growing at a rapid rate. 1 was growing into her tracia & 2 was growing into her bronkuia (sp). They said the opening she breaths out of was no bigger then a pencil. Well no wonder she was having such a hard time. The doctor is doing a massive dose of Chemo on her. She got her first part on Saturday (the anitbodies) and today she will get the chemo part. He is giving her a 50% of total cure, 70% of reduceing the size, 90% of remission. We would take anyone of them. But she is doing good and being very psotive about it all. I am taken my dog to the groomers, and running a couple of errands. Then I am off to the hospital again to be with her. Then I will be going to the support meeting tonight in Springfield. Sorry to hear about your mom, I know it isnt easy to think about losing your mother. I lost mine 4 years ago and as old as i am it still wasnt easy. What is it they say about you never know what you have untill it is gone. Enjoy each and ever day you can with her. Know that we are all praying for her, and you. take care of Melissa .You know you have been thru a major thing too . Jan
Hey Melissa, sorry to hear about your mom being back in the hospital but it sounds like they are pretty confident about the treatment. I am glad you are going to be able to make the meeting tonight.
