My Prayers were answered.....

Ok I went to see DR. HORNBOSTEL today....He has accepted me as his patient...he gave me a run down of how I was a great candidate for WLS...He also told me that I should get the Roue-Ny instead of the Lap Band because of my Trach..I would just be better off. SO, I have dediced that is what its going to be. I got alot of great info and I was happy......SO FAR.. my surgery is set for June, 2006....BUT, Friday I will know more... Iam really tired from the Trip so I will post more in the next day or so..Love you all Craig Lee

Thank you Jesus for this wonderful blessing for Craig. I am so very very happy for you. Tears come to my eyes because I see the blessing in your life and know how long and hard you have worked for it. I guess this is another win for the good guys. My prayers continue to be with you. Dannielle

Lia, I was secured in the chair girl but I did cry...Dr. Hornbostel, probably knew I needed the cry as much as Ive been through to finally get this WLS....I told Jan this morning..Its not a dream anymore. It now has become a reality.....Thanks to all for post replying.... It means alot to me...Iam sure glad I got all you guys....Craig Lee P.S. I chose my Angel.. She is Jan Cook. I felt that we began this journey with Dr. Hornbostel that she would be good for my angel...She is my buddy, and I thank Jesus for her as a good friend. My other good angel is Collette. She has really inspired me and Jan when we met her at the meeting....Its so good to come to this board and finally get to meet the people behind the screen. We are all in this together, a big family............ I cant wait until im post op so I can come to the board and say.. " Man, Iam such a loser!!" ehehehehehhehehe

Craig, I am so glad that you are almost there. I lurk here a lot on the Missouri board and you all keep me returning. Everyone here is so nice and supportive, it is really great. I too was at the seminar in April with you and Jan, actually you sat right next to me. I finally got all of my paperwork finished on-line and am waiting on Dena to call with my consulation with Dr. H. I look forward to hearing all about your journey as you cross over to the "other" side. Keep up the good work.
