Its me...

Well i just wanted to check in with the board and let everyone know whats going on. As of yesterday i had to leave the job I just started. I was not making comission and with paying a babysitter and gas i was almost losing money each week. Oh well something better will come up and I will try again. Everything else is going pretty good. I feel great and I can finally start seeing that clothes are fitting a lot looser. This surgery is the best thing I ever did for myself. So to all the post-ops i say keep up the great work and to all the pre-ops I say keep pluggin in there your day will come. Wayne

Sorry about the job Wayne but look at all of it this way. If you can do wls then you can do anything. Something will happen that is better than what you were doing and it will all fall in place. Good to see you on the board. Jan

Hey Wayne, I totally understand where you're coming from!! You're right something better will come along...and you can also think about taking online classes and stuff from home if you need to. My brother was in your shoes once upon a time and was on disability and wanted to get off. He went to college at what was then SMSU and he used the 9 month work process that is offered with disability. I think it's an awesome way for people to test the waters and get back into the work force. I'm so proud of you! I went back to work for a few weeks...after being on over 3 months of medical leave from having some surgery...and now I'm back home on medical leave again...my surgeon will not let me do my current job. So I guess we're sort of in the same boat. Maybe I'll see you Monday at group! God Bless, Kelli

Wayne - two things: #1 - I am sorry it didnt work out if it's what you wanted. Another door will open. #2 - Forgive me, but, WE MISSED YOU. You posted all the time and then went off to work - I, for one, am selfish and loved reading your posts more often. I also have noticed I have an unexplained knack for being THE LAST POST on a thread - which officially makes me either the WORST poster in the world or a complete KILLJOY. So, I am glad you are back. I am confident you are not done with work yet. Can I ask you a tacky question? I noticed your site and you seem to have a flare for web design, have you considered using that talent?
