Cautiously optimistic

OK, I saw my PCP Friday afternoon and he gave me a referral to Dr. Hodges for my surgery consult so the ball is starting to roll. I'm afraid to be too happy because there are still many roadblocks that can come up but at least I'm on the road!!! My dear PCP was soooooo supportive. Anyone in Spgfld area with St. Johns plan should see Dr. Thomas Thomas. He's the dearest man - really cares about his patients and he's unashamedly a Christian. So - Dr. Hodges office said they'd call me in 5 days to set up an appointment and I'm in that time frame now. I ask that all of you keep sending prayers and positive thoughts my way because this is so stressful. I want the surgery so bad and Dr. Thomas said it is the only current method for substantial sustainable weight loss. He sure make my day!!! Thanks for all the prayers for Friday. Love you all. Lana
