Need an opinion on Drs.

Hi everyone, TGIF--I'm going camping at Long Branch State Park this weekend--can hardly wait! Can anyone give me any information on Dr. Hornbostel? I've lived in the Sedalia area for over 30 years, but never had any dealings with him. However, I've heard some not so good things about him as a surgeon. I have also heard some great things about him. Can someone who has had him for surgery tell me what you think? I don't want to judge him before I meet him, but I would like some feedback on him, too. I would really like to have surgery in Sedalia because it's close to home and I've had no problems with Bothwell in the past. I just need to know what kind of Dr. he is and if he's got a good bedside manner. Thanks for your help. Linda
