I'm new to the site & have some questions
Hi, I have been checking out WLS for almost a year now. Guess I'm a coward, 
but I've finally made up my mind to start the process. I've heard a lot about what you can eat & drink and what you can't. I love Wal-Mart's "Clear American" the sparkling water & fruit flavored drinks. Can you drink these after surgery? I usually don't drink water at all 
--I used to drink nothing but Diet Coke. I finally weaned myself off the caffeine and onto the "Clear American". I really don't like Crystal Light--real fussy aren't I? 
Also, what do you eat after surgery?
My insurance won't pay for the surgery and I'm not wealthy! So is there someplace that will finance the procedure?
I've been reading the message board and you guys are a real inspiration! I'm taking my husband and we're going to the seminar at Bothwell on May 3. I'm really excited about learning about the surgery and what I have to do to get started. Thanks for letting me pick your brains.
