Update on Melissa!!!!!

I talked to Melissas sister today around 11:30 and she said Melissa surgery went very well. They were going to get to see her around noon. I am going to call her in a few minutes so I may have more to update in a little bit just wanted everyone to know she is doing fine. Wayne

Oh wonderful...I have had her on my mind all day today. I cant wait for her to start losing. She is going to have so much fun with it I bet. Tell her I said Hi and get well fast. Jan

Mike and I were at the hospital and visiting with Melissa's DH Terry and her sis in the waiting room .... stayed with them during the surgery and then followed on up to the room waiting for Melissa to come up from recovery. She is doing VERY well... alert (as best can be!) and doing fine. We stayed and visited just a short while (didn't want to tire her out) and then headed out to lunch with Ardie... visited ALOT and shared ALOT of info. regarding WLS and SUPPORT GROUPS and the in's and out's of SUPPORT GROUPS. WE HAD A BLAST!... got some pics that I am going to download and then upload (if they turned out good!).... MELISSA YOU ARE DOING SUCH A WONDERFUL JOB!!! Can't wait to see you on the board and posting again! We miss you and love you bunches! Elizabeth~

Thanks for the info everyone. Glad to hear she's doing well. We all know the road she has ahead - the good and the not-so-good (remember those drains?).... We all need to help those in the early days, the middle days, the latter days, all days, all together....I know I am grateful. Melissa, if you read this, welcome to the loser's bench

I am so thankful to God that all went well with Melissa. I worked with her years ago and she is the sweetest lady . I am so very happy that her journey has begun. Praise God for this day and for her. Dannielle
