IN NEED OF A NUTRITIONIST

I have all my stuff done that I need to get done so I can submit to my insurance company BUT all I need now is the nutritionist part done. I am having a hard time finding one in my area. I live in the Kansas City area in Independence. If anyone knows of one please let me know. Thanks so much!! Michele

If you have a surgeon in mind, call them and ask who they recommend. Certain programs have their own nutritionist on hand, and often can do consults over the phone (mine did!). Pamela -133

Most hospitals also have nutritionist I know my PCP sent me to one,..so if you get an order from your PCP it may also be covered under your insurance. Just a thought, I was sent because of my diabeties. I was sent several times as a matter of fact. They changed guidelines and so I did it twice,...But my surgeon has his own and it was part of the Consult. I hope this helps and good luck with your journey,....
