Well this is a first for me to post this way. But I am off today and about to take off for a long walk as it is a beautiful day. Hope all of you are drinking your water, taking your vitamins and staying away from the sugar. My weight is coming off slowly, but it is coming off and I feel like a new person just 5 months post-op. For all you pre-ops, hang in there and never give up. Some of you on Medicaire, you have just had a little delay but soon you will get news and your surgery will be scheduled. In the meantime dont be a couch potatoe, get up and move and do what you can do. Keep busy and stay away from that fridge and only eat what you are supposed to. Melissa, your day is nearing and you will soon join us on the bench. We have already moved over. Any of the new post ops if you have questions please ask us. The best advice I can give you is to follow your doctors orders faithfully. You will be amazed how wonderful you feel after the surgery. Colette

Good morning to you too Colette. So nice to see that someone else is up and going on this beautiful morning. I have already been out and checked on flowers, which ones have opened this morning. I have a new Orange Iris opened up this morning , It is beautiful. My carnations are starting to open up some too. I am so sore this morning that I can barely move. I spent Thursday allmost all day bent over weeding. and the backs of my legs and my back are so sore.OUCH!!!! But it will go away soon and I will do it again. Looks like eventually it would quit doing that. I can barely wait untill I get to get on that bench that you all are making room for us on. Will be so great to finally be on that side of the surgery instead of this side. Have fun today. Talk to you later. Jan

Jan, Just want to tell you about some of the benefits of surgery you look forward to. Last week I weeded my flower beds and trimmed bushes, and it was wonderful to bend over and do it and not have a stomach in the way. I told my DH that it is so wonderful to be able to bend over and do things and not be short of breadth etc. It definitely was a wow moment. And of course the B/P medicine has been discontinued for 3 months already and it is normal. It has not been normal for years. God bless you! Colette

Colette, It's a beautful day in our neighborhood too. We went to Home Depot, and I am now going out to work in my gardens for a while. Later I will be heading to the library (a Saturday must for me) where I will also manage to acquire a decaf latte. This is one of my favorite treats. I hope you have a great day!! Linda

Good Morning Everyone or should I say Afternoon. No, I am not just getting out of bed. I have been out running around garage saleing since 7am this morning. I found so many great deals expecially for my 2 expecting neices. My DH asked me if this was the way I was going to be when I get pregant by spoiling our child. I told him Heck yea try and stop me. We both just lol cause I know he would be as bad as I will be. It is BEATIFUL here and I am loving it!!! I am fixing to get into some shorts and get some of my stuff packed. More hubbys stuff packed then mine. Straighten up my house and maybe head to the mall to GNC for some protein packs. I wish you all the best of days and I hope you enjoy it!!! Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers!!! I can FEEL them!!!! God Bless Melissa
