Belly Ache with Cipro
Mr dr prescribed CIPRO for a UTI and my belly has been aching...anyone seen this? I let the UTI go because I thought I was just sore from walking every day - NOPE. Urine culture showed strep bacteria. I have been mostly having protein shakes and herbal tea but my pouch (or something in there) is not happy.....anyone else have this?
Hey TRACE, Down 48 plus the 18 before the surgery. People are noticing....a friend who I have seen go up and down with her weight asked me if I was shrinking.....she's in the very up stage for her weight and I didn't want her to feel bad so I said "yeah, a little but I still need ironing" - hee hee
I still don't eat food well but I don't really care anymore. I've had a few days where I've had protein drinks and V8 juice. I am sorting through clothes like crazy...Ive got a friend who needs them - she's the size I was....
I am wishing I could get in more exercise - we've had out of town company (my husbands family) for 3 weeks and they are finally gone. It was tough doing for company so soon but I held to my guns, walked every day and tried to make sure I had healthy foods around - they drank and ate and stayed up late.
I am starting to feel better by the day. Thanks for writing back - I go for a dr appt week after next and I really want to be below the 300 mark - it's less than 10 pounds away so I am thinking I can make it....
I am on cipro and another antibiotic now. They gave me ivs every six hours for five days in the hospital and now I take the pills for a week. I am almost done with cipro and the other antibiotic. They just kill my appetite. I just cant eat much anymore. Your doc could give you something to help your tummy. Milk of magnesia or pepto bismo might help. When my tummy is upset diet ginger ale or ginger tea helps. Mint also helps too. Hope you get better. I am slowly getting better just real tired now, but at least I dont have any pain and I finallly feel more alive than dead. Last week I felt more dead than alive.
