Doctor Date!!!!!!!

Praise God. I get to see Dr. Hornbostel May 3rd. Jan we are on our way buddy. Guys scoot over and save Jan and I some room on the loser bench. I also got news that Iam double insured now. Thank you Jesus for hearing our prayers and giving me a whole new WL family. Blessings are running over today. Praise God.... Praise God..... Praise God. I called today and they were going to give me the 3rd as a date to see the doctor untill i told them I wasnt seeing the Psych doctor untill the 1st so they moved me up to the 10..glad it was you that got the 3rd. Hey how are you double insured.??? Yep they better save us a big spot on that losers bench hadnt they? LOL Jan

Ok, I WAS excited but now I'm just envious. I wish I lived closer to Sedalia, I SOOOOO want to be where you guys are. Has anyone heard anything about the hospital in Springfield being any closer to their Center of Excellence approval? Lia

Hi, I am new at all this, tho I have been reserching 3 yrs, had my tests all done, then the hospital couldn't do it there. Do you have to go to the seminar before dr. hornbostel will see you? Have they approved the hospital for surgery?

Erna yes you have to attend a seminar before they will give you an appointment with the doctor. Lea isnt Sedalia just as close to Poplar Bluff as Springfield or just about....Oh did i tell you I was born and raised in Fredericktown. That is north of Popular Bluff. Use to go down there to be going to a Big Town. lol Jan

Awesome news, I didn't think you had anything to worry about. For what Dr. H does he is the best around these parts. I wish you nothing but the best and I know you are going to do just fine. I do have a suggustion though if you don't see a therapist you may want to start, WLS is still major surgery and the mental stress it puts on you is real, and it helps to have someone to talk to about all the issues. Craig, Great news!! For you and Jan. I am so glad I got to meet you at the last seminar. Did Dena say anything about the certification? My friend from concordia also has appt on the 10th. She is also medicaire. Looks like they are getting everyone scheduled so they can go ahead as soon as the word comes down. God is good! I told you he had it all planned out for you. Colette

Colette:..... Dena said they have 90 days from the time they applied so its in June but they might be getting it before then. But the people who inspected has 90 days is what she is telling me. But Im sure it will be before then....Yes, getting it all out of the way is a good start and We'll all be ready to go..........Craig Lee

Craig, I know they were inspected on March 26 because I was there in the office on March 23rd and they told me. So we are looking at maybe the soonest or latest of June 26th. I am real familiar with how those Medicare checks go as I work in the health field and we have surveys all the time and sometimes surprise visits. Anyway I am very happy for you. Colette

Craig, I am soooooo happy for you (and Jan). Words cannot even express how happy I am for you. It must feel so great to finally have an appt. after all the waiting and worrying. I will continue to keep you in my prayers that the inspection team sends the Center of Excellence down before the 90 days.
