Hello everyone. Well I am back home for awhile or until I leave for surgery. First and formost Thank you all for your prayers!!!!! I went with my Mother to her doctor they said she has the very aggressive kindof cancer. But that it is the most treatable kind too as far as getting rid of it. She goes in for a bone marrow on Tuesday (my sister is going to be there for that) and a catscan of her stomach and groin area on Friday. If both of these test come back negitive of cancer. Then what they wanna do is try and get her thro 4 treatments of cemo and then radation. But he said there was some serious side effects. Some people fromher church came over on Saturday (my parents are 7th day Adventist) and annointed her and prayed for her. We went to my sisters house for Easter. There was approx 40 of us runnig around. We took lots of pics and had a really good time. They sent my mother in for bloodwork and a nasel swab. Because she cant get rid of this cough that she has and they dont know why. And she is having a really hard time breathing and having to depend lot on her oxygen. Hopefully the test will be back today. I will post when I know more. I went for my last appointment with Dr. Scott on the 12th. I have lost a total of 68lbs He seemed really pleased. Which made me feel really good. I was sent over to the hospital to meet with the sleepy doctor, have a set of chest x-rays done, EKG, and bloodwork. Needless to say by the time I left Columbia I was bushed!! But finally feel like a chapter in my book of life is coming to a close and I am about to start on a whole new book. Silly yes, I know. So today and the rest of the week is just getting some things done that need to be done. Once again thank you so much for all the prayers. You all are the best!!! Love you all BUNCHES!!!!!!! Melissa

Hey girl so good to hear from you. Hopefully they can do something for your mom. I know you are getting anxious to get your surgery and get it over with and start on the losing side....I will sure be glad when I get there too. We all will keep praying for your mom and hope she will be on the road to recover soon. Jan

Melissa, I am so sorry for all your moms troubles. I will pray for her. Well girl just a few days and you get your surgery. I know you have worked so hard and waited so long. Just remember you are in the absolute best hands with Dr. Scott. Marla 335/244/138
