First of all- Id like to thank everyone for the kind words- thats so very thoughtful of you! Well today I went for the MRI and yep- I fit! So that part of the test was a relief. Unfortunatly, I donyt know what came over me, wether it was claustraphobia or panic attack but basically I freaked out and it took every ounce of my being to try and remain still- not easy to do when your in a total panic. I dont know why I did this- I know the crazy machine wasnt going to hurt me- but I can add that I have done this before while having a EEG. Anyway- I finally got through the test (barely) but the tech said she didnt know if the images were going to be clear enough to be read. SO Im waiting to see. She said if I have to come back have my doc give me something to calm me down. Hahahaha I thought- yeah right- Im not doing this again!! Took me two hours and a zanax to calm down- even made me have an asthma attack. I bet my doc wishes I would drop off the face of the earth! Anyway- after I got calmed down me and my mom went to Hobby Lobby ( a wonderful way to calm ones nerves!!) and for the first time ever I agreed to let her push me in a wheelchair, and guess what?? they had a "wide load" wheelchair! I was impressed by that. Kudos to Hobby Lobby!!!!! Anyway, I had a wonderful time shopping that I havent had in a long long time because of the pain in my back- It was a little weird riding around, I felt like and invalid. But it was wonderful once I got used to it and it really brought me out of last nights depressed funk- I needed that. So basically a bad day ended on a fabulous note! *smile*

Robin, A great big YEAH on all parts of today. I was thinking of you today and hoping all went well. Congratulations on getting through the test. That would unnerve anyone. A little retail therapy went a long way for you and well deserved. You're already trying on ways to channel your anxiety and cruising around Hobby Lobby is a fun place to start. This will be the first of many new, exciting and fun experiences for you. Enjoy the ride - wheelchair today but soon you'll be skipping down the aisles of Hobby Lobby!
