OUCHIE
Hey guys.
Most everything is going great but yesterday I started having slight pain around the one drain site that took a while to heal.
It's closed now but looks like a second belly button!
But now just going from stitting to standing can cause some small sharp pains in that area. Lying down last night it hurt too. ANd just standing up it can hurt too.
Is this something you all have experienced? Is this normal?
Or could this be an adhesion? Or possibly a hernia? Anyone no the symptoms of those?
I guess it could be that it's still just healing up and is trying to get back to normal.
I have tried to take it easy and not move anything heavy. I did get groceries yesterday and I carried them in a little at a time. I didn't think they were heavy. Maybe I pulled at the site, I don't know.
I will call the doc too, but would like your experiences too.
Other than that life is great. down almost 30 lbs now and my eating is doing fine. Still working on tha****er though. But I am working on it.
Hi Jennifer,
When was your surgery date? Depending on your surgery date, it might be part of the healing process or something more. Most definitely call your doctor. Please let us know when your date was and please post what your surgeon said.
Water can be tough but have a goal of increasing your hydration every day until you get where you need to go. Water is the key to optimum health and maximum weight loss. I know when I was losing weight, if I let up on my water, my weight loss wasn't as steady or as much.
30 pounds down!!! Way to go!
Congratulations!

Thanks guys for the responses.
My surgeon's nurse said this was a normal part to my healing time. My surgery was just on March 20th and some people experience that pulling sensation for a couple of months.
I don't seem to have it today at all. It comes and goes I guess.
But thanks for all your help.
Jen
